PayPal get commission on sales by Worship Empire, the fraudulent company which many people have complained about on this message board.

I was cheated by Worship Empire and lost £26. Others have lost much more. Many of us were taken in by Worship Empire because we saw the PayPal icon and trusted it. Now PayPal deny any responsibility. But PayPal have made money out of the fraud. They charged Worship Empire commission on their 'sales'. That makes them accessories to the fraud.

I suggest that we all write to PayPal, accusing them of being party to a fraud carried out by Worship Empire and making money from the fraud. After that, we can contact our European MPs and the police, to get the fraudsters and their accomplices stopped.

I ordered a song book for a Christmas gift. PayPal transferred funds to worship empire, but I never received the item. The worship empire domain has now expired.

I filed a complaint with PayPal. PayPal acknowledges the fraud, but won't do anything about it. It seems like PayPal should/could have been more proactive in identifying this fraud and terminating their account. Here's their response to me:

"After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the BuyerComplaint described below. We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any fundsfrom the seller's account."

Great.

Unfortunately, i have also been conned by Worship Empire Stores; great name by the way, it certainly encouraged me to trust them. i ordered two instructional fender guitar cd's for Christmas for my husband to continue to learn the guitar. What a huge disappointment when i did not receive these items which cost about £26. Ok, not alot of money to some people but when you have two children at christmas time the slightest extra is alot.
I have e-mailed them 3 times, only had one reply which made no sense at all to say their server was in the process of changing and apologised i had even had an e-mail from them to confirm the order!!! They made no attempts to try to contact me again, as I have since threatened them with consumer advice, however, I tried to go onto their sight to no avail as it seems to be shut down.
i am furious and don't know where to go from here, as I live in uk and they are in America. my husband is devastated not to have the cd's as indeed I am devastated to lose the money. What a con and to call themselves such a name i am sure someone high above will give them their just deserts for conning so many people using the disguise of worship.
Hope someone can provide me with some advice or an address of someone to contact in the states regarding this matter.
