Wu-yi Source Reviews

Let the buyer Beware! A Triple Scam! Wu-Yi Source, Insider Secrets To Weight Loss, and Comprehensive Weight Loss E-book Package have joined forces to rip you off. I did read the fine print and I don't recall seeing the two additional allegedly 'free' subscriptions/memberships that you get a free trial then have to cancel or pay for.

What I thought was that I was ordering tea and I had a certain amount of time to cancel if I wasn't satisfied. I received the tea and immediately realized what a joke it was so I called and canceled the membership and sent the tea back. I had to call and fight with a representative to refund the $59.95 that was charged to my credit card.

Two months later I'm seeing charges on my credit card which I don't recognize. Fortunately I spotted the insignificant charges of $4.95 and $9.95 and called to stop everything. I went back and found they charged my credit card last month too. First I called the number for the first charge which had a recording directing me to go to a website, Insider Secrets To Weight Loss, to speak to a live agent. So I went there and it took some time to get out of her that I'm being charged $4.95 for access to some 'insider secrets' website. Which I never even knew I signed up for. Nor did I have the information to access such “insider secret" information. Then I was instructed that another company, Comprehensive Weight Loss E-book Package, was charging me the $9.95, but I still don't know what for.

I'm still baffled that I canceled the Wu-Yi Source two or three months ago and all of the sudden two companies connected with them are now charging me. I was unable to get a refund for the previous month that they slipped by me. They allegedly will refund the most recent charges on my credit card.

Fraudulent Order Placed
A fraudulent order was placed in my name for a free trial of Wu-Yi Source tea which I discovered when I received an email confirmation. I responded that I had not placed the order, to cancel it, and that I would not pay for it. 15 days later a box from Wu-Yi was left at the door by USPS.

I called Wu-Yi the next day at 866-449-5567 and was told the order had been placed in my name with my address and contact information. The VISA used is not mine (I checked both my records and my credit reports with Equifax, Experion and TransUnion). They volunteered that the order had been placed from IP address: 66.79.187.221 (not mine).

My web search for others who had been scammed via Wu-Yi Source showed that other memberships were established simultaneously with Life Scripts. I asked about this and was told that when orders are placed on their website, users are prompted to set up trial memberships with Insider Secrets ($9.95 per month) and WebAccess ($4.95 per month). Their numbers are 1-866-363-0187 (press 2) and 1-800-989-5907. The rep believed the customer service departments were open Monday through Friday. She had also heard of Life Scripts and had their number 1-800-637-9382. I looked at the original email more closely and saw that user IDs had been set up for me for "Insider Secrets to Weight Loss" and "Comprehensive Weight Loss E-book Package". I went to wu-yisource.com to look at their "offer". It refers to these two memberships:

"Offer Details: When you order today you'll be signed up as a member of our exclusive preferred customer club. If we don't receive the products back within the 14-day trial period, you will be billed $59.95 for each month that you continue your membership and losing weight with the Wu-Yi system. (Shipped as a fresh, 3 month supply every 90 days) Call toll-free 866-449-5567 to cancel anytime. You have also unlocked a free seven day and twenty-eight day trial to the celebrity-proven Insider Secrets Tips package and the Comprehensive Weight Loss eBook package for just $4.95 and $9.95 a month thereafter (shows as "web Access" and "Membership"), should you choose not to cancel. Prior charges for bonuses are non-refundable and a monthly $1 transaction fee applies to each but subscription can be canceled and future charges stopped at any time. To cancel, call toll-free 800-281-9006 for Insider Secrets and 800-989-5907 for the eBook package. No obligation, CANCEL ANYTIME!"

There was no access to a live person at the published number for "Insider Secrets" so I called the other number given to me by the Wu-Yi rep: 866-363-0187. An account had been opened in my name with the same time stamp. A charge of $4.95 had been made to the same VISA . I was told the account would be canceled and I received an email confirmation

I haven't yet been able to contact the "eBook" people, but assume a similar scenario as with "Insider Secrets".

I don't know if someone at Wu-Yi had access to my contact information and placed the order fraudulently, or if someone else did so in an effort to steal my identity. I'm posting this to help others try to resolve their issues with intentional "Free Trial" orders of tea, or those who did not place an order at all.

Please be aware of the free trial Scam of slimming tea of this company. when I visited their site I was offered a free trial and all I have to pay for is $3.95 for shipping. I was asked to provide my credit card details which I did and then at the end when I was offered to print the receipt which I did and when I printed it the amount was changed to $24.95. I immediately telephoned the company on the number provided and queried the difference and the lady said the higher amount was because the shipping was international so I asked for the order to be canceled as I do not agree to the higher charge and she assured me the order will be canceled. Still few days later I received a parcel with a box of tea and later my credit card statement arrived wit a charge of $3.95 And another for $24.95 then after 10 days my credit card was charged another $4.95 (for Web Access??) and a further $59.95 was charged to my credit card some 2 weeks later. I was obliged to immediately cancel my credit card to stop any further charges nd refer the matter to the credit card company to investigate the un-authorized charges against my credit card.

unauthorized shipment
This company shipped me products without my ever ordering them. I do not know where they got my address, and I do not know where they got my credit card information. I am certain I did not place an order or agree to a free trial, and most definitely certain that I did not provide them with my credit card information.

Unauthorised charges
I order a free trial of tea from Wu-Yi source and found it of no benefit at all so contacted the company on line to say I did not wish to receive any further orders. They told me to return the tea and I would be refunded. However, I have since had 4 unauthorised payments going out of my account for varying amounts with no explanation what they are for. This company is a scam - do not go near it! I have since cancelled my card.

Ok so I know a lot of you have complaints about this company. So here's mine to add to it. It started off with me looking at my credit card statement and seeing a charge from wu-yi source. Not knowing what this is I looked up the website to see what it was. Knowing I didn't order anything I called the 'anytime' number listed and they were closed. So I called my cc company and they gave me a courtesy adjustment. Things are fine. Until a week later and they charged my card again. So I called the 'anytime' number again and finally got a hold of someone who told me that someone else had my cc number with their name. Somebody named Fran Richardson. So they refunded the money back and told me they were canceling that account since it was my cc with someone else's name. Well they lied and I got charged again 9.95. I called my cc company to find out who the charge was from because all it said was membership. They gave me the 800 number they had and I called to find out it was wu-yi source again. So I called the 800 number and talked to a lady who wouldn't give me her name and kept changing the subject when I asked where she was located and couldn't find my cc number in the system. So she wouldn't refund me. Then I called the cc company canceled the card finally and I decided to call the 800 number back and get a name of someone. I got someone by the name of Laurie. I asked first off to talk to a supervisor and of course they were all busy so this lady did find my cc number with the name of Fran Richardson attached to it. Somehow in a matter of 30 minutes it showed up in the computer. So I asked her to cancel that account since obviously it wasn't my name with my cc. She said she couldn't do that. These people are deceitful frauds and somehow have to become liable at some point. I don't know how or whatever but they really need shut down. I understand that for me it was someone else who had my credit card number but when I told them it was a fraudulent charge they should have closed that account and not let anymore charges go through.

scam and fincance scamming online
This company are thieves. They are extremely misleading and take alot of money without you permitting them to after a trial. They have taken $180 from my credit card without me knowing as I believed I had only applied for a 2 week trial period, and the product does not even work. I then went searching about them and discovered I had been taken for a ride.

We could all take an attitude of no conscious to clients but we all know its wrong and illegal. How is it that this group can still stay in operation while they are being complained about?

I want my money back too

I accepted a free trial of the product, but they charged me $59.95 for the product and 4.95 for a web access thing. Besides I had to pay taxes when I received it. I thought it was the end but now they are charging me the same amout plus a membership of $9.95 without my authorization. Can anyone help me or do something about it?
