Fraud Unauthorized Charges
We have purchased the product (tea) in good faith. The payment was allegedly taken by "secure server". Instead, the following month our card start to receive a number of small different charges such as "web access", "membership" and so on. Because we are in the UK, they stand out being charges in USD and was very easy to identify the scam. DONT USE THEIR SITE YOU WILL BE FORCED TO CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD TO GET RID OF THEIR EXTENSIVE FRAUD SCAM

Scammed me
I like so many others thought I was going to be able to try the tea before ordering any more. I was charged $59.95 2 months in a row because they keep sending me tea I don't want. I couldn't possibly drink all that tea and I don't want to. I hate the taste and it doesn't work. What can I do to get it to stop? One idea may be to get a new credit card and close out the old one. Can anyone help me?

unauthorised credit card withdrawels
I purchased the free trial of Wu Yi Source Authentic Wu Yi Tea. I have tried to cancel this product to no avail. I cannot contact the shipper or company to stop these unauthorised payments from my credit card. I have sent back 3 boxes to the shipping address and I am still being charged. I would like action to be taken promptly. My email address is [email protected]. If i must I will take this matter further

Insider secrets & Comprehensive E books
On the 19/12/08 I spoke with Maggie at Wu-yi Source via online chat to have my subscription cancelled as I was charged on 17/12/08 $110.46 NZD for a months supply of tea - I was soo shocked, that has got to be the most expensive tea I have ever had - everything went quite smoothly Maggie advised that she had cancelled my subscription & even provided me with a reference number, so that was the end of that.. Well that’s what I thought..

I was going through my credit card statement on 26/01/09, when I noticed I had been charged $8.70 on 14/01/09 for Web Access & $19.24 for Membership on 26/01/09 at first I wasn’t sure what these charges were & had my bank look into it, but I had a feeling it had to do with Wu-yi because they were only company I had provided my credit card details to & my suspicions were correct.

I spoke with Arnon on 31/01/09 via online chat, I asked him why am I still getting charged these fees. Arnon advised that the fees were for Insider secrets and comprehensive E-books, I told him that I didn’t subscribe to these & I haven’t even received anything?? Arnon advised that I was automatically subscribed when I had signed up & that it was in their terms & conditions, (I swear these customer services officers are reading off some sort of script because I kept getting this speil that I should refer to the terms & conditions.. It was getting quite annoying as he/she kept saying this a few times throughout our conversation) he/she also advised that I would’ve been sent via email a username & password - I never got this email & had no idea what he was talking about. Arnon asked if I would like this info I said no I just want it cancelled now, this is where it becomes ridiculous. I told him that I had spoken to Maggie on 19/12/08 & had my subscription cancelled she never mentioned anything about these products & yet again I was told to refer to their terms & conditions….aaarrrggghhh!!

Arnon goes on to tell me that I had to cancel these subscriptions on my own I quote “Arnon: Regarding cancellation for Insider Secrets To Weight Loss ( web access ) please call at 1-866-279-6513 and for Comprehensive Weight Loss E-book (membership ) please dial 800-989-5907” .. this was quickly becoming a nightmare & still costing me because I live in NZ I’m going to have to pay for international call charges.

My argument with Arnon was I couldn’t understand why I had to ring a total of 3 companies to cancel a subscription that I only completed one form for??, why couldn’t I be automatically un-subscribed to something I was automatically subscribed to?? Again I was referred to their terms & conditions. In the end this was how it ended as per below

Jennifer: I think for future reference may pay to just remind customers when cancelling their subscription that they would need to cancel the other things they automatically subscribed to seperately as it can be misleading, as normally with other companies when cancelling a subscription other offers that were linked automatically were also cancelled automatically as well. You have no idea how frustrating this is when it only took one process to get signed up in the first place only to have to go through 3 seperate processes to have them cancelled
Arnon: Please review the terms and conditions (click below )
Arnon: https://www.wu-yisource.com/terms_new.php
Arnon: Its clearly stated that you have to dial separate #' to cancel Insider secrets and comprehensive E-books
Jennifer: You keep referring to your terms & conditions & quite frankly i really dont care right now, just giving your company suggestions on customer service, yes i understand that you have to dial seperate numbers to cancel, but did I have to dial seperate numbers to subscribe?? NO i didnt. This is my issue. But not to worry I know you're only doing your job I only wish I didnt subscribe in the first place if I knew all this. Thank you for your assistance. Enjoy the rest of your day.

I am yet to get in contact with these other 2 companies. I have it mind to just cancel my credit card & get a new number because I feel that this is only going to get worse. This is how these companies make their money, by making it extremely difficult for people to cancel subscriptions & take as much as they can until then, and sneaking little amounts here & there so that you would‘nt notice.

So to anyone considering trying this overpriced tea…read everything at least a thousand times on this website before committing for I sorely wish I didn’t subscribe to this in the first place. :o(

Life Lean
I was scammed out of 200.00 after having purchased and returned the Wu Yi Source Tea. I was charged 19.95 ten times beginning in April 2007 by a company that changes names like Life Lean, Living Lean, which number 1-800-396-5711 is out of order. I have tried to reason with Wu Yi Source, they admit Living Lean is a Partner Company, however they don't agree to refund the money claiming I did not read the small print and that I must have hit accept. I spoke and wrote to a customer service representative cancelling the tea and was assured I would not have to pay anything else, let alone a $200.00 subscription to something I have not even received information about. This is a real run of the mill scam and the reason I did not find out sooner is because they keep changing their name. What to do, Wu Yi refuses to refund?

unauthorised charges
This company is a complete scam. After calling them to cancell any further orders they assured me that no other charges would be taken from my account, however, at a later date two amounts were taken. I have contacted my bank and sent a letter to wu yi cancelling any further charges. I await the outcome! If this fails, where can I get help?

Unauthorized charges
I sent for the limited sample of WU-YI tea several months ago. I do not want to continue to receive and be charged for 3 or 4 boxes of this tea each month. I cannot reach anyone at the company...the website is blank and the phone number does not allow me to talk with anyone. I want these shipments to me stopped immediately!

Unauthorized charges
Beware of WuYi weights Loss Tea!! They will charge you the full price of $37 before your free trial is up. I sent back half of the tea and was assured I would receive some money back but didn't receive any. Also you can never talk to a person! They will only email you. I was also told by email I was taken out of the autoship program but I wasn't. I was charged $19.99 a month plus $37 and $31 and foreign fees. This was a total of $148.62 from January 23rd to May 7th of 2008.

I have notified my bank but they are saying they will only refund me $59! I will be sending a detailed report to WaMu and I hope they can resolve this.

Credit Card Fraud/Scam
This company is tied to several companies that are scamming consumers by placing unauthorized charges on credit cards. They do it with Free Trials, or offering products that never ship. I placed an order with one company - cellarbrokers.com, and the next day Wu Yi was charging my credit card for shipping charges on a "Free Trial". When questioned, they said perhaps someone in my family had ordered it for me - playing on emotions. Soon after New Vitality was also charging my credit card. I didn't order a thing from either of these companies, and never received a product from cellarbrokers (you can look them up on the complaint board - many similar experiences). I've come to realize this is a credit card scam. They hold onto any money they get from your credit card - and make interest off of it - until the charge is disputed. My credit card company said this is now common, and also told me the only way to stop them from charging more was to cancel my credit card. If they have your number, I suggest you do the same. I've also filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Forget the fact that the product doesn't work - this is a credit card scam.
