Unauthorized billing
I saw the Wu Yi Source on the internet and thought what a great way to loose the extra Kilos. I signed up for the free Trial (Joke) It was supposed to be $7.95US Postage and no obligation. When the invoice printed it was $24.95 US That was on the 17/9/2008 Then on 24/9/2008 They charged me $4.95 US Web Access Then 10/10/2008 they charged me $59.95 US For the so called free Trial. I tried to cancel and received emails from 5 different people. With the closing line have I answered all of your concerns, which none of them had answered any of my questions. The Terms and conditions that you print out when ordering seem fine, but when you question them they come up with a different set of Terms and conditions. I received an email on 30/9/2008 saying that they had canceled my automatic shipment and I would received no more shipments or charges (another joke) on 28/10/2008 They charged me another $4.95 US for Web Access and $9.95 US for Membership. I have since had to cancel my credit card. I have informed Consumer affairs and my bank about this complete RIP OFF. I would never have imagined that 60 useless Tea bags would cost me so much.

i ordered a 30 day free trial of this wu yi tea. not even two weeks later they took 59.95 out of my account. i thought i had 30 days? and they say if i didn't like it after 30 days i could just return it and they wouldn't charge me. well i haven't even gotten to return it yet. i cant find a number for a real person or to cancel it. where do i find the number? i dont wanna do it cause i read online after i ordered it that it has made people sick. so now they took 59.95 out of my account and put us in the negative. how do i get them to take that off of my account. they can have the stupid tea back. i haven't even opened it yet.

Horrible company
I ordered the 4.95 trial of the slim tea. I was charged on that day the 4.95. Later I tried to call and cancel, but was directed to e-mail them. I sent them an e-mail and asked to cancel.
I got an e-mail Oct 9th telling me my auto-ship was canceled and to send the product back. I promptly did, only to find a charge on my credit card of $36.95. I have no clue where they came up with that number. I e-mailed them back on Oct 23rd asking them to return the money, and included the original correspondence as proof i canceled within the 14 days.
They wrote me back and said to see the terms and conditions that i needed to cancel within the 14 days. I tried to call them several times more. I responded to the e-mail letting them know the previous e-mail contained proof of cancellation within the trial. They wrote me back and said to send back the product for a refund...which I already had!
I still have not seen a refund. I can not reach this company. Horrible customer service.

Unauthorized billing
How is it this WU YI can stay on internet with this scam, get a card number from hundreds of people, and use the numbers, like it is their own. They used us, and stole from us, and still doing it every day. The US Government want stop them, is that right? the State can't so any thing, because they have their rights. I can prove I told them over the phone "If I want more then I will call", two other people heard my words. Lets get together, This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it I want to fight this. Are we so sorry we can not fight for our rights?

Unauthorized charges
After ordering the tea and tasting one portion I returned it for a refund. I did receive a refund, but a month later my account was charged $14.95. When I called my bank they informed me that this was a recurring charge which could not be blocked because I had willingly given them my credit card information. It is next to impossible to reach them by phone but I will keep trying. I was stupid to believe the hype and now I am literally paying for it. Don't be fooled. Don't purchase this tea... it's a sleazy operation.

I am deeply troubled by the extent this company will go to in order to bilk thousands of people out of millions of dollars!
First... find the address of the company from which you ordered Wu-Yi tea...there is more than one
Second... file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the state in which the company is based
Third... if you have placed an order and are continuing to be billed, call your bank and tell them of the fraudulent charges and they will mail you a hard copy of an affidavit to sign. Be aware, this is a legal document that will stand up in any court of law...so make sure you have a legitimate claim with the bank!!
Fourth...OPRAH AND RACHEL RAY DO NOT ENDORSE WU-YI TEA!!! Unless you can find the actual endorsement on their websites, the claim is fraudulent!
Wu-Yi tea is mentioned during a segment of each show as an alternative for weight loss that has become popular but it is NOT endorsed! To endorse a product means that Oprah and Rachel Ray are agreeing to accept a percentage of royalties from the company for promoting their product, which in turn, will legally bind them to the company they are promoting and the product being sold. This is something they will NOT do!!!
Fifth... and most important... READ THE FINE PRINT! Read the disclaimer at the bottom of the home page of the web site. If there is no disclaimer, DO NOT ORDER!!!
If you know you are someone who does not take the time to read the fine print, then do NOT order, accept, or agree to the terms in the agreement! Yes, there are 3 other companies that have slid their services into the order agreement but I caught those BEFORE I placed the order and denied the acceptance. Only one company billed me and I had that reversed by my bank with the affidavit. They have not attempted to bill me again.
Do NOT sign up for the Autoship Program! This program is NOT included in the money back guarantee. Hang in there folks! For those of you wishing to file with the class action lawsuit, be aware that you must have been scammed by the same company in which I was. I bought from www.wu-yitea.com, based out of Texas. Remember folks, the first line of defense starts with ourselves! Take the time to read and research before you buy.
If not for sites like complaintsboard... many more unknowing American's would be scammed!

Unauthorized charges
I was trying to figure out how to buy this tea and couldn't even get an upfront cost without putting in my credit card info. I should have known better but I wasn't thinking they would process the order without me even confirming the info I put in. But, before I knew it the screen had gone blank and I thought... "great"... better than buying a product that was so deceptive.
Then the box arrived. There had been no email confirming the order and telling me it had shipped. There also was no invoice in the box telling me what to do to claim my "guarantee".
That begins the saga of trying to get these people to give me a straight answer. I must have talked to at least five people before someone would tell me where to send the tea I did not want. How hard could it be to answer a straight question? It turns out that it was to the same address listed on the website (I just thought that couldn't be the case!).
I sent the tea back (delivery confirmation) and so I know they received the tea. I waited then for them to be honest about it and credit my credit card. They didn't. I waited two months for it to appear and, when it didn't, I contacted them to find out why. They refused to acknowledge that they had received the tea. It took about an hour to get to this point... them denying that they had any record of my name or address or e-mail... then denying that they had any record of my sending it back. I had left the delivery confirmation receipt at home so when I got it I called again... we went through the same "we don't show any record of your order" "we don't have any record of such an email address". I can't tell you how frustrating these people are (and whoever trains them to do this kind of fraudulent maneuvering).
They are intentionally holding your return until you call to "verify" that you sent it!!! This is the most unbelievable, UNETHICAL practice that I have ever seen. They are HOPING that you will lose your slip and then they'll be off the hook. You have to PROVE you sent it before they take care of their end of the return.
FINALLY, I got the credit on my statement but what I went through was, by far, the most outlandish and ridiculous I have ever experienced.
If I can help one more person NOT to buy this product or anything like it, this will have been worth it.
