Scam charges
I was unaware that wu-yi or what ever there called were linked to living lean. The product they have sent me namely herbal chinese tea have stopped so i don't understand why they keeping charging my card each month. I may have to get a solicitor involved in this as these people are taking the piss and they don't know who there messing with. I have notified my bank who have stated that i may have to cancel my current card which i am not happy about.

The particular product i purchased occurred in january 08 ie herbal tea.

Scam charges
This company is a complete and total fraud. I went to their web-site and ordered a free trial for which they charged $4.95. There were three offers on the list:

"Three Great Discounted Offers FREE TRIAL OFFER (Held For Regular: $59.99 NOW: FREE (plus shipping)
Buy 2 Get 1 Free

Regular: $179.99 NOW ONLY $120

($40 per carton - Save $120!)

Buy 3 Get 2 Free

Regular: $299.99 NOW ONLY $180

($36 per carton - Save $220!) [BEST DEAL]"

I marked the first one. Free trial to pay 4.95. Suddenly after two weeks, a charge appeared for %59.99. This was supposed to be now not free at all. And then another two weeks later there is another charge of $59.99.

(This is for Oolongtea which you can buy from any Chinese store for about $6.00 packed a little fancy and having a website with some pictures.) That is beside the point. I ordered only a free trial. Nothing more. The whole system of this company is complete fraud. Their live chat happens to be with a computer. Their phone number does not work, is not probably manned, but handled by a machine.

Unauthorized charges
I ordered my free bottle, got no results, then checked my online debit account and there it was... a debit for $79.76. I didn't even get another bottle and then I looked in the very small print about continuing to send products and billing your credit card until you canceled. It also said you had 20 days to cancel. It has been 12 days and my account has been charged $ 84.63 and I got pills for 5 days. I tried to contact the company to cancel... URL is not a good website, Phone number has automated answering machine, then disconnects you after a few minutes... I did have an email, but it was one of those automatic response emails. I found another email, but haven't heard back I Have lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Unauthorized charges
As with you all, tried the tea just out of curiosity. I did not authorize monthly shipments and I am being charged 59.99. Typical crooks. I am glad I got a call from the credit card company this morning because of the suspicious charges. Canceled my card but not after them stealing $150 dollars from me. Lesson learned. I will be reporting them to the BBB for what it is worth. I would call but it sounds like you get no where which is not surprising considering it is a scam company. One has to wonder exactly what the stuff I drank is really made of.

Unauthorized billing
I ordered Wu-Source Tea's "free trial" for 4.95$ late one night. I got up the next morning and had an email form them thanking me for the order and describing all sorts of charges and things that came with the free trial that weren't mentioned in the "free trial" offer. I immediately sent them an email declining the "free trial" and stating why I was declining. They sent the tea anyways. I sent it back at my own expense. I received an email stating they had received the tea and I would receive a full refund in 2 weeks or I could email them.

The refund never came, the email address doesn't exist, and they have taken 95.00$ out of my checking account with no further tea or emails from them. I have had to call my bank as of 8/13 and now change my accounts to stop these thieves.

Unauthorized charges
Y ordered the "free sample" of Wu yi tea and canceled right after receiving the package due to health reasons by April 2008. As of September 2008 I have been charged at a monthly rate of $ 21.99 Canadian dollars, chatted with operator, called the Customer's Service, being given different Cancellation numbers and they keep charging my credit card. This scam has to be stopped. Where to go with a formal complaint?. Is it anywhere we can report scams and have an answer and have that rip off stopped?. That kind of business practice over the Internet will hurt the whole Internet business.

Lies
I have recently been scammed by WU YI SOURCE TEA and LIVING LEAN which is charged to your credit card automatically after purchasing the tea, continuously until you cancel, even if you only registered for one box. I received my first order of team in May, and now I am still being charged after cancelling in June. This company is deceiving, dishonest, and twisted. After contacting "Living Lean" this morning, I have obtained the latest phone number for WU YI SOURCE TEA (as their website number lies, as does their contact email information.

The REAL number for the tea and their headquarters is below:

-WU YI SOURCE TEA (customer service) : 1-866-449-5567 (ex. 2 if it gives the option)
or the HEADQUARTERS: 780-416-0211 (Susan is the head, apparently)

I hope you all phone in to discuss your complaints, instead of reaming about them on a chat forum, even though I know the information is vital for others to know. Investigations are in progress already, to my knowledge. However, further action needs to be made. I hope it will be soon. Good luck. And cancel your credit cards if need be.

I also have had this problem with this company, they are still charging my card, each time they tell me it's for some other product in which I described when I got the original package. I finally had to cancel my card and get a new one, it was something each month for three months now DO NOT buy this product these people aren't even americans.

service and product
First of all the product DOES NOT work in anyway. What a joke. However, the customer service is even worst. I waited on hold twice for over 15 minutes - just to be disconnected. They charged me after I canceled. I finally tried their "live chat" but they must out source those calls because the person I was chatting with had canned answers for the most part - and the grammar/language didn't work for the conversation we were having. Do not be taken in - I should have listened to all the previous concerns others posted.

SCAM!!!!
Biggest scam I've seen in many years... there is no free offer, no trial, no nothing but scam. You order the tea, you won't get the "trial" 2 weeks supply of tea, you'll get a month and they'll charge you double on your charge card.

They want you to believe there is a separate "Living Lean" company which charges also appear on your credit card and this is a diet program that you don't order, you read about it on Wu Yi's website and, Presto!!!, it appears on your charge account.

Good luck getting credit! They're bastards... only because I doggedly called and threatened their employees on their live site and on the phone did I get credits on my charge card. Hint: when trying to get your money back, shame these young, innocent employees, who think they're doing good, by asking them if this is what they intended on being when they grew up: ripoff artists!

Amazing how the government hasn't caught up with them yet!!!
