WU YI Tea Reviews

Unauthorized charges
I am writing this so other people are aware of what companies can do when you order something online and they have your bankcard details. Wu Yi tea sent me a free order charging postage and handling and then a few weeks later charged me an extra $92.12 (what for) When you receive an email from them you don't get a reply email. I have been trying to contact them but am unable to locate their details. So please be aware of this and warn others. This doesn't mean all companies are like this, but you need to be really careful. I have had to change my bankcard details.

Continued shipments
Another unhappy "customer of MBM&F

I have returned their product with letter asking them to stop sending it.
However I continue to received this tea/weight loss supplement, despite my attempts to cancel whatever agreement they think I have. The first shipment was supposed to be free.

Unauthorized Charges to my credit card
I checked my (already pitiful) balance on my debit card this morning. I only made 1 transaction at the gas station for 20.99. By the time I drove an hour into my office my card had been charged 2 charges from an unknown company. 1 charge for $4.95 pending and 1 charge pending for $29.95.

My bank had no merchant information only a phone # 800-712-7222. When I call this number it is an automated voice which advises you that if you have unidentified charges on your account, please allow 2 business days for the charges to post and then you will be notified of who the company is that is charging you until the charges have cleared. That's right!

So, i googled the number and came up with this site - Thank you to all who have left comments, without this I wouldn't have known what to do.

I called Wu Yi Tea - 866-449-5567, they could not find an account for me - they used the last 8 digits of my card number then my email, nothing. Of course, I did not accept that and asked for a manager at which point I was transferred to someone in their accounts department, who put me through the same rigamoro and finally she was able to find the charges by putting in my whole credit card #; however, she said she was unable to refund my funds because there was no account in their system! She told me that I would have to either wait for the funds to debit my account or to fax a bank statement to the fraud department.

I called my bank and they advised me not to fax anything to them because if they are fraudulent then I am giving them complete access to my account and they will try to use it to to say that I signed up for their product. My bank advised me that they were probably going to take the debit but once that happened I could file a claim on my card and they would refund my money while they investigate the company.

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR INFORMATION - I HAD TO ARGUE WITH MY BANK ALSO TO GET A MANAGER WHO UNDERSTOOD WHAT I WAS SAYING - HE TOOK THIS WEBSITE AND 800NOTES.COM ALONG TO PROVIDE TO THEIR FRAUD DEPT FOR INVESTIGATION. - YOUR BANK IS YOUR BEST RESOURCE FOR HELP IN THIS SITUATION.

No refund when returned product
I was instructed by them to return the product and they would then issue a refund. I was tricked into buying a "free trial product" with only shipping charges for $5.00. It's B.S. they actually took $140.00 from my bank account. I returned it certified mail and did take pictures of everything before sending it plus have the receipt. The place i ordered it from islocated in Illinois and it's a big scam. I've been trying to get my money back since August with no luck. I'm going to take them to small claims court and sue them for the 140.00. The bastards!

charing my credit card without my permission
The product was returned 16 days after I received it. I had it insured. They have their product, but still continue to bill my credit card for $4.95 in additiion to a membership fee for $9.95. This has been going on for 3 months. I will persue this further if I do not have the money owed me sent to my address on file. I haave now cancelled my credit card, because of this fraud. You will be contacted by my attorney, and all the other people you have ripped off will be my witnesses. I'll see you in court. Oh, by the way, I am an attorney.

Product came in so ok it was charged again because the product came after I cancelled. I am done. I paid and cancelled and my card just got charged again for the product. Unauthorized charges
I ordered a trial of Yu Wi Tea returned the product. I was still charged a consecutive charge of $4.95 with no authorization by myself. The info on the my statement was slightly different, but it was still generated from it's affiliate.

charging my credit card several months after I cancelled and got refund
I ordered and canceled Wu Yi Tea and returned the product within the allotted time frame. My credit card has recorded the credit.

I never authorized any other charges. $9.95 appears on the original billing in Aug. 2008 and along with that a $4.95 every month since for "Insider Secrets" which I have never authorized.

I am calling my bank to dispute these charges. They have gotten away with it for a while now because I was away and did not check my charges when I paid my bill as I was not at home to do so.
