Placed a 'free trial' order online for tea from Wu-Yi Source Tea/Easy Weight Loss Tea. They asked for a cc # for 'verification purposes only, ' which seemed normal, to verify consumers were 18+. Well, never got the 'free trial' but was charged $19.95 (disputed), then $19.95 (disputed), then $190 (disputed), and since October 2008 have been charged $19.95 monthly by one of the above three companies (all charges have been disputed and removed).

Tried to contact companies by numbers on my bills, but got no response. In fact, once (CPIpay.com) the phone was answered and placed on a countertop and I listened to someone listening to the television. Seriously!! However, when my credit card company called the same number 30 minutes later, some guy answered all business-like and informed me that I agreed to some hideous $200 charge for tea! Who would pay that much for tea? OMG!

I have done some internet research, and found that the FTC is doing an investigation and anyone who has been frauded by these/this company(ies) should file a complaint. Remember, victims are the ones who don't fight back!

Excessive charges, no explanation of what they are, when they start, if it is for one single shipment, automatic monthly shipments, or what products the "free trial" includes, doesn't include. This company Wu-Yi Source is either more than one enterprise, or they are turning over my banking acct. info to 2 other vendors. I would never have signed up for Ebooks, at a continuous charge every month of $9.95, nor would I have said yes to an on line "members only" diet tips site at another ongoing monthly charge of $4.95. The deceptive web site is 26 pages long and mostly just talks about the weight that you'll definitely lose. All this other stuff isn't even mentioned. I am very busy in graduate school and did not take the time to keep my eye on this bank account which is through a bank in another town in wisconsin where my Mother lived while she was still alive, and I inherited after she died 3 years ago. This is not my primary bank account and so it was not a priority to reconcile it every month. That has changed of course, since this happened.

Unfortunately 3 charges of 59.95 for the tea (Only two shipments of tea arrived)and 14.95 for the ebooks and diet tips (neither of which I knew about or have ever received information about or even instructions from them on the web site and how to sign on) went by before I cancelled. This is within a 2 month period, all in September and October. In august, I was charged 2.00, 2.95 and 4.95. I did see that and figured it was shipping and handling charges - no big deal...little did I know that they planned to take (more accurate would be steal) $219. 55 from my bank account.

Cancelling the auto ship for tea was frustrating enough, since Wu-Yi Sources website has no cancellation or customer service site on any of their extensive 26 page long website. You get a chat line - that's all...and then when you tell them to cancel the other charges ...this is when you find out what it was you've been paying for, since the bank statement only indicates it was an EF charge and it is right after the wu-yi tea charge. This business and the people behind it are running a deliberate deception. This people should be rounded up and publically punished.

I order a free trial of wu-yi source tea to loose weight, it was not free after 14 days they charge you $59.99 and each month there after, without you knowing that. they said that for asking t=your free trial sample for 14 days automatically you are signing for as long as you stop it if after 14 days they do not give your money back. then you have to pay the shipping and handle to send it back. They do not tell you this in your 14 day trial. I read this site after I ordered.

This is a total scam! You do not get a "free" trial. They bill your charge card as soon as you get the tea. I decided before the tea arrived that I did not want to do the diet so as soon as I got the order I called and asked how to return it and I told them they better not bill me any more then the shipping charge. I was told they will cancel my membership but I had to return the tea within the next 8 days or I would be charged the $59.00
I told them that was not acceptable since I didnt know how long it would take for it to get to them so I was told to call them with a tracking # and they wouldnt bill my card.
I returned the package the very next day and called with the # and they had already billed my charge card.
I had to call my credit card company and get the charge removed and also cancelled my card so they couldnt bill me anymore $. It cost me $10. to return the tea and a whole bunch of aggrevation for this fraud game they have going on.
I asked them how is it a free trial if you get billed for it and they said you have to return it within 14 days for it to be free.
One of my friends joined before I did and I told her to check her charge acct. statement and she discovered that even though she hadnt cancelled yet they charged her $59.00 for her free trial.
