I ordered Wu-yi tea from wu-yi weight loss tea on August 29, 2008 for a free trial and then after 14 days, I would be billed for a monthly order. Moments later, foolishly, I looked up more information on them and found what we all know afterwards. I immediately called my credit card company and was advised that Wu-yi had already put through two charges on my card. By the way, this is the first time I have ever ordered something online and I will never do so again.
At that point, my fears were real. I then was given a number from Visa to phone in order to cancel any orders with the people who put these charges through and also have those charges reversed as I did not want to proceed with the free trial.
The woman I spoke with at Wu-yi, confirmed she reversed those two charges and I would never be billed by them again in the future. She confirmed that any product to be sent to me, would be cancelled. This was within a 1/2 hour of ordering: the time that I wpoke with visa and then cancelling with her.
She confirmed reversal cancellation and no future orders, deliveries as well as no future charges.
This week, I phoned visa for an update. They confirmed that Wu-yi took two charges from my visa on Sept. 19, 2008.: not one but two! For the amounts of: $65.40 and 65.75 Canadian respectively. This would include the approximately $1 charge on each for American to Canadian funds. I was given this site address to report so that I can dispute these charges. They were not authorized. I had not ordered. The Free trial order I initially placed was cancelled within a half hour of my placing it. I have received no tea or any kind of merchancise or service from these people. Yet they are charging my visa for monies irradictally, and not even in conjunction with any same-day cancelled free trial offer. They have been advised I do not wish to purchase their product (same day, ) and confirmed cancellation and no future billing with me that same day: August 29, 2008 YET THEY ARE ROBBING MY VISA AND FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH IT!!!
Visa had advised me initially if they charged anything again, I could contact disputes department with visa. I did this. Disputes advised me to email this site.
I have never received any product or service or merchandise from this company.
I cancelled minutes after ordering and this was confirmed by the reversal of the two initial charges that same day. (When they advise nothing will be billed until after the free trial period.)
I need these charges to stop as I have no income, had my back broke in a car accident, and am a single mom. I can not afford to be robbed let alone robbed for monies I may never ever be able to repay for a product that I do not want and have not received.
