customer service/ shipped wrong product
Bought and paid for LG fridge 12/2010. Did not receive until 01/15/2011. Paid for white glove delivery so they would bring it in the house and remove old fridge and remove all garbage. When delivery guy called to set up time, he tells me I only paid for normal delivery to the door only. I told them that I paid for white glove. So I contacted www.appliancesconnection.com and they said the same thing. I had the order in front of me, AND contacted my bank to find out that I did pay for the white glove. The customer service rep on the phone told me to try and tip the drivers and they'll "probably" do the WG delivery. I stated that was not an option, and that I already paid for it. After over an hour on the phone, he finally updated it to a WG. Then the day of delivery. I purposely ordered a 33" wide fridge because of my limited space ein my kitchen. I happened to be on vaca with my wofe when it came, and my grandfather was home for the delivery. He calls me to tell me that it won't fit in the doorway to kitchen. I found this odd because I measured everything to make sure it would fit. I advised the delivery men to leave it in the dining room, and I would remove the doors on the fridge and bring it in to the kitchen myself. I removed the doors, moved it in to the kitchen, and when I tried to put it in the place it belongs, again, does not fit. I finally measured the width of the fridge and this is where I noticed it was wider than it was supposed to be. I looked for the serial number on the fridge, and discovered this was a completely different fridge than I ordered. I have contacted them via email, and am waiting for thier response. After all I have been through with them, I dread the outcome with this. I too, did not read reviews until after I ordered the fridge. Shame on me. I'll try to keep you posted with what comes from this. First, and last time buying from these guys. Unprofessional.
