I recently became a member of Tojsiab and thought that this would be a wonderful website where Hmong people can connect to create a positive community, but I guess not. While looking through their website, I found a picture of a family member that was posted with false information. I don't know if the webmaster or administrator posted it up or maybe one of the member posted it up, but the fact is that even after notifying the administrator, nothing was done to remove the content. So I figure if the administrator is not going to do anything about it, then it's almost like they are supporting it! I didn't give up and decided to try another way by involving members. I joined the community forums and talked about my issue. Next day, my topic in the forum was deleted! And yes, only the webmaster or administrator have access to delete my topic in the forum! And what's not right was that I've read in the forums that the administrator have helped other members removed contents when requested! So I concluded that the administrator either have something against my family member, don't care about the members, or don't give a damn about the community.
I PERSONALLY THINK THAT TOJSIAB SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN because I don't want this happening to other members. Nobody deserves to be treated this way and given a bad reputation through false information. This act is against their policy and they're not even willing to comply to their own policy! They're such hypocrites! How bad is that! I won't be surprise if the whole website is full of crap! I know I'm ending my membership with them and whoever decides to use their website should consider this complaint.
There are other better Hmong websites where you can join, so avoid Tojsiab!
