Fraudulent boot sales
I ordered a pair of UGG boots at this "outlet". After I ordered I had a 6th sense that the transition was just not right. I was informed that the boots were being shipped from snowboots store1. There was no charge for shipping. Great, but there was no mention of which company would be shipping. I emailed and got a response in broken English with poor grammar and punctuation. I wrote them back and was given a tracking number. It took approx 3 weeks to receive the order and came from China. There was no phone number to contact only email to the Ugg site which was transferred to the snow boots site. When I received the package the wrong size boots were sent. I also questioned the authenticity of the boots. I emailed the company again and was told that was the size I ordered. I told them I wanted my money back and this is where they get you. The total to send back was around the cost of the boot. I was then told I could give them as a gift and they would give me a deal on the correct size boot. How generous!!! I also mentioned the copy of the order form was in Chinese and how would I even know what it said. I told them I felt this was a scam and would report them to the BBB. I can take part of the blame because the return policy was listed and I did not read it very carefully. I am disappointed. I think I will also notify the "real" UGG boot company with this info. I will definetly check the BBB list when ordering anything on line again. My other thougt is why bother to return the boots. The order would most likely be wrong again.
