Via Trading has many Liquidation products, You can browse around their warehouse and see alot of stuff.
Most of the pallets are packed with nice things on the top and you cant see what is underneath.
We purchased a sporting Goods pallet.
We asked about the items and they say that they inspect all the items for damage.
They state that the liquidation/returns pallats are mostly buyers remorse items. Meaning that the items were returned to the company (such as Big 5 or Macy's ...) were due to remorseful buyers not to many damaged items.
They claim that the "Damaged item" are just small scratches and or repairable items. You can make money from.
They also claim over and over as Allay Marin and Jenny Franco were quoted as saying are only 5%-15% and as much as 25% damaged. so that would mean that worst case scenario would be 75% of the items would be or could be sold as new. These are their words.. from two or more individuals namely Jenny Franco and Allay Marin.
Well as it turns out we got the pallet back to our office for a detailed look.
5 Tents.. Tears and rips beyond repair.
16 Airbeds and Inflatables such as basketballs and a Raft, All with unrepairable rips in the seams. All 16 airbeds. Trash the SeaKayak rip on the seam and unrepairable. Trash.
3 folding chairs "Coleman" Broken legs. Cannot repair.
1 Airsoft gun package. That is what i mean a package.. No gun just the package.
Everything is Trash.
We paid using Paypal and before putting in a dispute with Paypal we called Allay Marin to see about a return.
They said it was as is.. Well isn't as is the 5-20% statement on damages.
They made that statement over and over. Assuring us there are salable itmes.
The wooden pallet is worth more than the items.
We called and were told someone would get back to us by the end of that day.
No calls until two days later and numerous phone calls from us. Jenny Franco said that she would see what she could do and get back to us. We called over 50 times. and left voice mail after voicemail. No return call no resolution. So of course we then put in a dispute through Paypal. What a Joke. Paypay said since we didn't purchase the item using their parent company eBay there was nothing they can do. Dont use paypal to buy anything other than on ebay.
That is another story in itself.
They are so fast to sell you on pallets and push you toward larger pallets but when you have a problem they do not care... Jenny Franco is a terrible public relations person.
I forgot to mention that in the first compaint call Jenny said that the 5-20% damages to typical pallets is on an average and you have to continue to buy pallets until you find saleable items.
What the Hell does that mean.. You have to keep handing them money to remove their trash until you find some good trash that some sucker will buy for his landfill.
Do Not deal with these people.
If you want great service go to www.southerntextile.com or www.liquidation.com and you will get real product not some east LA homeless trash from Via TRading.
