I bought some teeth whitening products, which were supposed to be a low price and a trial period. After about a week, I received three packets in the mail, congratulating me for signing up for a bunch of stuff I did not want. I called all three places, within the thirty day cancellation period, and cancelled all subscriptions. I went on my way blissfully unaware that they were still charging me for the product. After 4 months, I realized they were still billing me for some sort of shopping benefit program. I called them and they said I had authorized the billing. I told them I had called and cancelled, and they said they had no record of me cancelling. I asked them why I had never received my $100. gas voucher. They said they sent it. If I had received any voucher, wouldn't I have used it? These web sites are a total scam! It should be illegal to advertise to sell you a product for one price in large print, but somewhere in the ad there fine print that says you are signing up for a re-ocurring charge and subscription. I did not want to sign up for a subscription, I just wanted some teeth whitening product. Why don't they have to disclose all prices upfront and in large print. Why are they allowed to do this?
