I have 3 charges on my bank acct. this morning for $80.24 each...I have not authorized these charges and would like to know what the heck they are for immediately...

Son purchased 3 month online gaming for X-Box live, using his brand new checking account card (he just got an account). He absolutely wanted only 3 months, as he thought he may be moving off to college, without an X-box. X-Box sent an e-mail message that the charge was being placed on his card, and we immediately called X-Box support, to cancel and state that this was a 1-time 3 month purchase. We carefully read the information provided with the purchase, and saw nothing about recurring charges. [We were very careful to do this, as we had previously used my card for another son's 1 year gaming contract, and though we saw nothing about any further use of my card, I received an automatic charge after 1 year. When we tried to challenge this billing, we were told that automatic renewal was part of the contract, and was in the details of the description.] X-Box refused to cancel the transaction, and again claimed that there is a description stating that this would be an automatic/recurring charge clause, and told us that we could not cancel it.

I had problems from day one with this x-box doesn't work. Have the time don't want to send it back, now i just don't shut it off or it will red light. I can deal with this some what, but my problem is their billing dept at x-box live, they would rather lose consumers than help them. I recently had one of my accounts expire on x-box live, so i went to buy a 1 year go to put it in. They tell me i cant, said wanted my credit card, i said why i paid for another one year that isn't how it works. Sir so what he is saying, he wants more money off my credit card, then i can put it my 1 year. This is unreal poor kids out there, cant even play a lot of the time. I bet i am 38 years old gamer, all my life, but i think its time to say good bye to x-box and x-box live and move on to the future of gaming playstation 3 free online gaming, then i wouldn't have to worry about problems like this as well as the halo 3 map pack. Paid for it twice, they barely refunded my money for that like 6 months later or longer paid for them twice your billing dept did that, as well the sad thing about this, i regret all the people i told to get the x-box system.
