Inappropriate Ban and bad customer service
I am soooo frustrated with x box live. My son's account was permanently banned without warning or explanation for account theft, phishing or solicitation-none of which is true! They will not explain this ban, send you to forums to post a complaint which is then not answered. Repeated requests for explanation are stonewalled and promised return phone calls do not happen. Then we saw my son's tag online being used by someone else! I have been told that they don't ban without reason, and don't make mistakes, but clearly that cannot be true.
They claim that they do not have any contact with their live enforcement branch AND that the live enforcement team has no phones! REALLY? This seems a scam. What other company can take the money you have spent on the service and points and just confiscate them without explanation or proof? The moderators are loose cannons and judging by the number of complaints all over the internet, this is an ongoing problem. PLEASE COMPLAIN to your better business bureau and to microsoft and anywhere else you can, so we can get them to be more accountable. I believe they think they are too big to have to respond appropriately and they are dealing with mostly young people, and also take advantage of that. But NO COMPANY should be able to treat it's customers this way without feeling the wrath of consumers!!! LET"S BAN BAD X BOX LIVE BANS TOGETHER!

unauthorized charges
microsoft unauthorized charge my credit card four time. . 1- 12/08/09 $25.00, 2- 12/07/09 $25.00, 3- 11/27/09 $25.00 and 4- 11/01/09 $62.50.
the charges for xbox live. i want the monies back in my account asap. john jones

Poor Customer Service
Do NOT set up an account with XBox live!!!
If you have a problem with your account:
1) they speak very poor Engish
2) they do not want to help you
3) they will refuse to cancel your account and will continue to bill your credit card!!!

Charges on Credit card
Have been getting charges from XBox livebill.ms.net on credit card statement. Cannot get an answer on why there are so many charges for this. I have 7 different charges for this and need to know who to call to get them to quit putting this on my credit card.

I have received several unauthorized charges to my back account from xbox live. My son signed up for xbox live for a one time purchase. Which was maybe several months ago. Now I have received several charges on my account. What is the next step for this?

Racist Gamers
It is unbelievable of all the racial talk that goes on in xbox live especially playing COD (anyone doesn't matter), and it seems like microsoft isn't doing anything to atleast try to resolve this serious problem. I know that cant be on every game and police who's on, but atleast address it so people know it won't or shouldn't be tolerated. I am extremely upset because I have 9 yr old boys who play online that hear that crap rather its directed at them or someone else. Sad thing is I heard the racism coming from older males all the way down to 12-14 yr old kids. We paid, and still pay (for xbox live) entirely to much money to have to sit back and just take it, the complaint form on live is a joke I'm sure it never gets looked at. In case someone from microsoft or whoever deals with xbox live sees this I still have the message one of this racist sent me which all he does is repeatedly calls me the "N" word. But I'm sure microsoft is making to much money to even give a damn about a man and his two boys being called the "N" word. Shame because it can be really fun until the racism starts, and its pretty much a garuntee that it will start. Oh well probably better of getting a Wii anyways.

reimbursement
we have tried several times to cancel automatic charges from our bank account for various gamer tags, my underage child did not understand the messages that the company says appeared on the screen which apparently said we agreed to pay another $7.99 per month, for a new gamer tag, but xbox allowed my child to say "yes" to these charges, without any kind of verification from me, i should have been notified by email each time before xbox created a new account, also, i was given a very hard time when i called xbox, being told that the company could not cancel the accounts, they needed gamer tags, etc, etc, we have complained to better business bureau and the ftc, we want reimbursed
