Bad Xbox
Bought an Xbox 360 from him on ebay. Unit failed 2 weeks out of 90 day warranty. He replaced it for a $50.. exchange fee. Replacement unit has now failed after only 5 weeks. He refuses to answer any emails.

Customer Support
I called X-Box so called customer support to get a repair for my console and was told that I needed to have the power supply available to troubleshoot it. I had already gone through the steps with another rep past and I said, no, I know what I need, I just need this fixed. I told her furthermore that I had already been through the whole troubleshooting page on Xbox.com and she still refused. I then asked to be escalated to a supervisor. The supervisor was even worse and she tried to treat me like a little child with her tone of voice, like I was stupid and she was smart. This really infuriated me but I kept myself very collected and told her that I'd already been over this like 1000 times with the service rep. Guess what she said next?!!? She said, sir I read the notes I don't think its been 1000 yet. She was being a smartass and this sent me over the edge, I asked her one more time to help me and she said that she would not help me get my xbox repaired and now there are notes on my name. I hung up on her. That was the worst customer service experience I've ever had from someone who considers themselves to be a supervisor-level employee. I've never wanted someone to be written-up more than this lady. I wish there was some way to let the person whom she reports to know how she is to customers. Don't buy X-Box because if you ever need assistance you'll only find grief!!!

XBox 360 Controller
I purchased a XBox 360 system, a wireless controller and some games on christmas Eve from Maestro at the Blockbuster in Edgewood, Maryalnd. The disappointment was the extra controller did not work. I called on Christmas and told to call come in on the 26th and see the Manger Paul Perry. The person I spoke with said that I could bring the controller and my receipt and they should exchange if one is available or order from a neighboring store. when I took the item back I was told by Maestro they could not help me. I would have to go directly to the manufacturer. This was unacceptable and the policy of not doing an exchange was unacceptable. Paul was there and said they did not have a controller on hand. I informed them both that I was told they could oreder from another store. Maestro insisted that they would not and could do this. Paul then said to call another store. He said this three times before Maestro responded. She called the store in Belair and they agreed to exchange the product with no trouble.
Why could the store in Edgewood be as compliant?

pulling the plug on live
I have been playing xbox live for some time now.. and most games dont give you the chance to plug because there is no reason.. but NBA live does.. i dont know how many times ive been winning a game late in the 4 n lose the connection.. after everything workin fine before then.. or with 8 sec.s left the other player pause n "lose connection" . it makes it so i dont even want to play.. whats the sense if u can plug.. they should either lose the game.. or some type of rating be by their name to show if they plug.. whether its on purpose or not.. because who wants to play someone that is going to plug if they lose.. or usually have a bad connection??

Unbuyable
All the new game that come out are always on xbox 360 or ps3 always new consoles never on ps2 or normal xbox why not it isnt fair they should be on all consoles.

Warranty repair
I am writing in complaint to bring to your attention the trouble I have received in trying to have the Xbox sent back to you for warranty repair / replacement.

I have called three times waiting for the email to advise me of the postal details to have the Xbox returned. The first call was made to Donna in Late June, receipt number 1016264281, the second call was made on Saturday to Michael on the 1st of July 2006, and the third was made today to Jake. The problems I have received in trying to speak to the individuals concerned are ridiculous. The language barrier is preposterous, thick accents that are barely audible is somewhat of a joke.

My main concern is that the Xbox was a Birthday gift to my eight year old son from his Biological Father who does not live close by! He is unable to play his xbox at all, games are very expensive and he should not have to wait this long to have anything done about the problem. The machine is sitting in his room doing absolutely nothing and it’s not fair to an eight year old to have to look at it and wish to be able to use it! Not to mention the costs involved for myself in logging on to wait for an email that has not arrived!

I am totally disgusted in the amount of time it has taken the xbox helpline to send the details needed and I am going to ring the consumer hotline and complain incessantly to them to bring the standards of your employees up to date. I have no problem in the way they have treated me or spoken to me but the blasé way they have treated my sons situation is totally ignorant and not fair.

What should have been an easy and straightforward resolution to this problem has turned into a total nightmare and I am frankly not happy at all with the situation!
