After almost six months of living in my apartment, they finally added my name to the account. It took them just as long to update my boyfriend's name and address on their bills as well from when he moved across the street.
I called on 02/26/10 to pay my disconnection notice of $212.13, for God only knows how long. I added myself to the account with a woman, then gave her my routing number and checking account number to pay my bill (which she now has). On 03/22/10, I received yet another disconnect notice for the same amount. I called on 03/23/10 and spoke to Carla. According to Carla the only information that they received from me was information to add me to the account with my live in boyfriend. She said that the person taking my banking information "skipped a step" and did not post my payment. I asked her if they record their calls, in which she said that they do. I told her that I wanted my account reviewed by a supervisor including that call because they need to tell me why they didn't do their job. I held up my end of the bill, how is it my fault when they don't do their job?
I am considering getting the attorney general involved in this. I will definitely be consulting with an attorney.
PS - I have yet to receive an actual BILL from this company that does not contain the words "DISCONNECTION NOTICE" on it. Do these things exist from this company?
