Very Poor Customer Service
Made reservations for hotel. Wife very ill so called to cancel since there were 2 reservations on the same confirmation number, had to speak with a person. Took over 2 hours and 12 redials to get through after being cut off by time out on hold. Cancellation was 3 days before staying there so well outside property's time line. Charged a $25 fee for cancellation. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had as when got through, could hardly understand the person from The Phillapines. Will never book through them again and suggest you do not, either. Had a previous trip on airlines which was cancelled and we could not make connection in Chicago, so never made our destination. Took 3 months to get credit back on card from airline as had to also go back through Yahoo travel. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Overcharged
Overcharged me approximately $100 Aus for overseas travel They admitted the checkout figure was correct but that it was not accurate, What a joke-this agency trades under a name that suggests it is trustworthy-namely Yahoo.This could not be further from the truth-this type of advertisiing indicates deceptive and misleading conduct and never again will I have anything to do with the name Yahoo.

Prepaid But No Reservations
Recently I booked a 1 way flight for my daughter and son-n-law through yahoo travel. I was emailed with a comfirmation number and e-ticket. It was 3 days later, that my credit card was billed for the tickets. When they went to the airport, the airline had no reservation for them and the flight was fully booked. My son-n-law called Yahoo Travel Customer Service number on the E-Ticket that was emailed to me and they refused to help, even though they took my money and confirmed a reservation for 2 seats, in my daughter and son-n-laws names. They claimed there was nothing could they do, and refused to talk to anyone from the airline the reservations was supposed to have been made through. My son-n-law is in the military. He was on his way home from vacation. He had til midnight that day to "sign in" at his military base or he would be considered AWOL. Yahoo Travel didn't care. But after he spoke to a supervisor for the airline, they used some "magic" and got both of them on that flight. We appreciated that and respect the airline, they really came through. But as for Yahoo Travel, you have incompetent people working for you and haven't got a clue about what REAL customer service is all about.

Refund of Vacation
Our flight was canceled by the airlines due to a tropical storm. When we tried to get a refund, they gave us a very difficult time. I have not received it as of yet and I will likely be taking them to court. To anyone who reads this, never use yahoo.
