Yarnia.com operation a site for Internet yarn sale located in Uxbridge, MA is evidently operation a scam, if not a fraudulent, Internet business. The web site has all the bells and whistles, various incentives, come ons, free shipping etc. The prices appear to be low vs. other vendors. Here is what happens: An e-mail order is submitted. The order is acknowledge promptly via e-mail. The credit card used to pay for the order is checked with the vendors bank and approval is then granted. The client then waits for the shipment, or shipment notification. The vendor is contacted many times via e-mail requesting order status. No response is forthcoming. Numerous phone calls are made to the toll free vendor phone number. The only response is satanic music and various recorded messages advising caller to leave message and return calls will be made. No response is forthcoming. Client then sends tough e-mail advising Yarnia if status of order is not reported cancel order and issue credit to credit card. No response. After 3 months, client advises Yarnia complaints will be registered with Attorney General, Uxbridge Police Dept., Federal Trade Com. etc. Yarnia finally responds via email and says credit has been issued. After another several months, no credit is forthcoming. This vendor operates a fraudulent Internet business. He should be shut down.
