Aggressive Drivers
I was driving home just the other day down the expressway in Chicago. There was plenty of room to pull into the left lane, I used my signal and the cab driver pulled up and drove onto the shoulder of the road, and purposely hit the rear quarter of my car.
I pulled over into the other lane and he proceeded to go forward. Then he got in front of me and started to drive slow (remember this is a highway) slam his brakes, etc... At some point I was able to get past him, and he caught up to me again and continued to provide gestures...
The driver did scratch my car and I am filing a police report as well as a report with the city of chicago and Yellow Cab...
These guys are frick'n crazy!!

Lied about collision
I was rear ended by a Yellow Cab taxi. Now a week later, their insurance company denies liability because they claim I reversed in the middle of the street and backed into them, just to avoid paying me $700 to fix my car. The driver even apologized profusely while we exchanged insurance information.

horrible driver and dispatcher
horrible experince it was, i just got off from one of yellow's cab, it didnt take long to get to me, but oh my god HORRIBLE SERVICE starting off from the dispatcher, i told her to repeat what she was saying because i couldnt understand her, she was talking like she was half asleep or drunk, so i asked her to repeat her again and she yelled at me... i walked outside to wait i was already mad, but i was waiting i didnt want to walk because i was feeling very sick... so i waited, the cab came and i said How are you? he didnt answer while talking on the phone most of the trip ... i mean that is dangerous for te passenger, i told him my address and i guess he didnt know it, i am new to the city and he was telling me if it was by a school, anyways we got a lil lost but he was pissed off... we got home, the rate was $6 and i gave him $8 ... i said thank you... he didnt even say anything... horrible service horrrible if i knew i would have walked...

Problem gettting service
I use Yellow cab frequently by means of transportaion. I had a severe spine injury and am now disabled. Ive had many problems with their service but the last time I called to get a ride to the store was it for me. After getting picked up, I was taken to the store and the driver was pretty angry because it was a short distance and since he came all the way from Waterbury, he claims he wasnt making money...in other words, he doesnt benefit financially. He actaully called the dispatcher while I was still in the cab asking why they gave him such a small trip. There were quite a number of times when I called because I needed a ride to pick up my medicine at the local drugstore and as soon as they find out I am only going downtown and back, thats when the dispatcher tells me they wont have a cab for an hour or two but then noone shows up. No calls/no show. I dont have extra money to pay for cab services.Im on disability and rely on them for transportaion but it is very hard to get service especially when they know where I need to go. If I have to go to several places, they will come and pick m e up but if its only to a store, or a short trip they will make excuses why they cant provide a ride for me. Ive caught them in so many lies and to be honest, the last driver who picked me up was very disrespectful. I was extremely embarassed as If I did something wrong and I feel I didnt deserve that kind of treatment. All I told the driver was I was sorry that he came all that distance just to bring me to the store and his response was "I donot make money from these short trips" I am not sure what to do because like I said, I depend on transportation, sometimes even at night but now I can no longer count on getting rides. By the way, I am a good tipper.

Unproffessional driver
I had a appointment at st Vincent hospital and the hospital had sent a taxi to pick my mom my son and me up to take us to our appointment. Since the arrival of the taxi the driver was very rude! He demanded to be paid and when I told him the hospital office said they would pay him when he dropped us off he refused to drive. Then he started saying he didn't understand us "mexicans" and that were was the money! He eventually began to drive but the drive there was horrible, uncomfortable, and frustrating. When we arrived he demanded to be paid but screaming. Then he tried to hold my mother and son inside the car! Then began calling us mexicans again. His a very rude driver and is very racist towards Hispanics. His personal hygene is terrible as well as his appearance. I didn't like the fact he behaved that way infront of my 3 yr old son. He shouldn't work in this kind of job if he can't have good customer service. Hi a very bad rude person. I wouldn't be surprised if someone kicked his ass sooner or later.

rude threatening behavior,refusals
hi my name is rebecca it has been 4 sunday ago at 6 in the morning a cab scheduled to pick me up refused to turn his meter on telling you know what you pay and telling me i aint gonna come pick you up again and repeatedly talked down to me as he was takeing me to work i did'nt even feel safe however it was a short trip and that is why he treated me with the utmost disrespect.they all do, and i called to file another complaint but they either want answer the phone and want call me back or their mail box is full.i don't drive nor does my husband he is under a doctors care and with me haveing to be a work early in the mornings it is just not safe for me to walk.and i know my rights i have the right to use their service just the same as someone spending 80 or90 dollars.this past thursday i also had a cab ordered three days in advance prior to thursday and they kept calling me teling me they did'nt know about picking me up i had to threatened to contact a lawyers office the guy that finally showed up on thiss heavily raining morning had his girlfriend in the car with him.the cab driver said i don't know why you have'nt been already picked up yet you were a 6 0'clock pick up, i replied yes i know that.the cab drivers once again sat around and was not going to take my order.i understand they can take bids or pick and choose their trips but at the same time if dispatch see's that noone has answered the orderby at least 10 to 15 minutes before pick up time the dispatcher has a duty to assign who ever is busy to that pick upespecially when this order was put in three days ahead of time, i relly would like to see someone take some innitiative and do something about the way these cab drivers act, and it also involves the managers and dispatchers as well, i deal with the public every day i am a assistant manager my employess that work for me as well as any where else will act and do what ever they are allowed to do if they are not repremanded or disciplined.we all have a job to do if you don't like dealing in customer service then basically you don't need a job dealing with the public.

Worst cab service
This is the worst cab service but unfortunately this is the only cab service around my area. I wish there was another one; I would never use Yellow Cab. They are really not bothered about their customers. They take their own time. Once I had gone grocery shopping and I called Yellow cab they told me to wait for 5 minutes I waited and no one came. I called again and this time they asked me to wait for ten minutes. Finally they came I asked the cab driver what took him so long he just ignored. I got in and asked him something he did not answer and did not even look back. He was very rude. I wish there was another cab service in my area I would have never used Yellow Cab services.

Terrible phone service
My husband works for Advanced Beverage Co. and they pay for him to get free taxi cab rides if he ever needs one to be safe. On Saturday the 21st, at 1:00 am we called Yellow cab to get a taxi. We waited, and waited and then finally I called back 30 minutes later to see the status. She told me it would be about 15 minutes so we continued to wait. 15 minutes later I called back to see what was going on. By now we had been waiting for 1 hour and 30 minutes. I was very upset. I tried to call a different taxi company but yellow cab is the only ones that services Advance Beverage. I finally called back very upset and she kept hanging up on me. I finally got her name and her supervisors name, which is Vicki and supervisor Tony. She would not let me speak to a supervisor and she never sent a cab for us. I can not believe how disrespectful she was and how a cab never came.
