Taken for a fool by yes loans
July 28, 2010
What a scam they are
Having read the hundreds of complaints about this HORRID company. I just wish I had seen these complaint before I got stung by them for a payday loan which I didn't want. I have been trying to speak to someone and when I do I get put through to there so called customer care department. There is no customer care from them at all. All I would say to you is DO NOT GO TO YES LOANS they are the worst things in the world. I would say people but this is no way to treat a fellow human being. I have been stung for £500 and all I wanted was a loan for £800. So I am now in a worse situation then I was before.

Fraud
I applied for unsecured loan with Yes Loans and paid up front fee of £69.50. papers duly arrived and were filled out and returned. That was 6 weeks ago and no repsonse except a call last week from Yes Loans to check if I was happy with their servcie. Afetr explaining I had received no reposne from them they p[ut me on hold for 15 minutes and then cut the call. Subsequent attempts to call them result in a voice message telling me that they cannot take my call and then cuts off.
Yes Loans are a fraudulent outfit offering loan scams. Contact them at your peril!

Fraud
I was looking into getting a small loan and was told by them that I had been approved but they needed to take a fee of £69 in order for it to proceed. I asked them many times if i was actually approved and they said yes. They took my bank details but before the due date for the fee I rang to cancel the application, they said it was too late but not to worry as I would get the money back, over a month went by & was constantly calling them from my mobile trying to get through to a human being, I was on for over an hour at times & when I eventually would get through to someone they would put me through to another queue. I have also written to them 3 times. I have had calls from companies who work on their behalf who have nothing to do with loans, they are people working for companies offering refunds on bank charges!! I am totally frustrated as I cant seem to get through to a human being on their numbers and now it is over 2 months and I still dont have my money back. Can anyone advise me how to get the money back, do you have a different number from the 0844 one or do you have a fax number?

arrangement fee
I recently applied for a loan with yes loans to pay off a hospital bill, I spoke to a helpful guy who after lots of questions was happy to tell me I would be getting the loan amount I required, he would send out the paperwork for me to sign I had to pay a fee of £69.50, which I paid on my debit card, I was then told I had to sign the forms they would send out and I would have my money within 3 to 5 days. This morning I have had a phone call from another lender whom yes have passed me onto and after going through everything again have been told I am not getting the loan, and that Yes won't give me one either.I haev tried phoning yes to try and get my money back but was on hold for almost half an hour and kept getting told there were 20 people in front of me in the queue. Do I have any chance of getting my money back from them or is last the last I have seen of it and take it as lesson learned.

fraud
Me and my boyfriend has just got our own place together and needed a loan for our holliday and pay off bills we never get to do anything nice together as we are always paying out. So i saw yes loans and applyed for a £3000.00 loan over 4 years the man who rang me to do my application was great to talk to how stupid was i :(
He said on the phone within 10 minutes my loan had been accepted and they had a loan waiting for me a few days later i reiceved the forms in the post i had to complete and forward back in a pre paid envolope.
All seemed great at first until the fee of £69.50 came out of my account and i kept on ringing and being put on hold after 10 minutes on hold the line was dead, ive emailed yet no reply i even recieved a text message from a loan company called loan and go saying my loan had been accepted please call the nuber provided so i did and they never even heard of me, told them yes loans must have sent them my details that when they told me they are a big fraud and to cancel everything with them, well ive tryed but yet again iam on hold on 0845 numbers all the time i just don't no what to do.

thieves
yes loans gauranteed to give me a loan to get a car in return for £69.50, we were approved for a loan and told to go to an address in twickenham to finalise our application which we did however when we got to wembley we were told we had to go through yet another credit check which we did but we were unsuccessful. we were told by yes loans that we would only be charged if our application was successful, as it was not we did not think that they would take the money out of our account, however they did and we are now unable to talk to anyone from yes loans when we call the telephone number that we have for them after 30mins on hold at 10ppm per call we are told to call another number and so on. we have tried numerous times to get through to them but with no luck at all! we feel like we have been conned and robbed and can not do nothing about it.
we have wasted petrol and our phone bill trying to sort this out and we now feel helpless.

Scam
I cannot believe I have just fallen for this scam!! I needed a loan fast so spoke to someone from yes loans yesterday as they seemed quite a reputable company, (they are about 4th on the list when you google loans) I was on the phone for an hour, spoke to 3 different people and then in the end I was offered debt consoldation rather than a loan! I don't even have any debt (1 credit card with a really low amount!) I have checked my bank as I gave my bank details (how stupid) as I was told they were needed for a credit check and they have taken £69.50 today from my account!! I have spoken to my bank who has advised there is nothing they can do, they will raise an investigation on my behalf but wont refund me as I willingly handed over my bank details. Now I feel like such an idiot!! I cannot believe I fell for this, looking at other websites this company has been doing this for over 2 years and majority of people have still not had their money refunded. I have been on hold now for 2 hours and 10 minutes to the 'customer service department' and still have not got through, i keep calling the main sales number and get through within seconds and now as soon as I mention I have been on hold to the customer services tem for so long they put the phone down! I am seriously considering cancelling my bank card so they cannot take any more money from my bank without permission. The only ting I am going to learn out of this is to make sure I check these kind of websites before I ever hand over money or bank details!! I can kiss my £70 goodbye don't think I will ever see that again!
