Overcharged
They promised to obtain a personal loan. They took money out from my bank but have done nothing. I do not effect a loan offered by lenders within 3 months. I would like to refund the fee.

Totally misleading
Applied to Yes Loans under the impression that they were a loan company. When on the phone to them was told that I had been accepted and was even told how much I would be repaying per month! I was therefore under the impression that I had been accepted for the loan I required. However it turns out they are merely a broker - meaning there would be no guarantee they could arrange a lone for me. Why on earth quote monthly repayments if a loan has not even been arranged?! They took their £69 'admin fee' from my account the very next day.
Not being happy I decided not to continue with the loan application when the paperwork arrived. It has been a nightmare trying to get in contact with them. Always being put on hold.

Steer well clear
As before we posted a claim for our £55 on this site. About a week later I was emailed to say Yes wanted to settle so I agreed. I had a few emails from an Ian for canyoutrustthem to ask if I'd received my money as they promised to settle. A week further still and we got a letter through the door but rather than getting our money the letter read that they have 6 months to pay it back but they will try to do it in three. This means they are intending to keep hold of it til January as before. Therefore not only have they lied through their backsides to us about the loans and the money but they are also prepared to lie to a consumer website to get them off their backs. STEER WELL CLEAR OF YES LOANS!!

Totally unprofessional
We applied to Yes Loans for a sum of £1, 000 approximately two weeks prior to the incident date on the understanding that they could secure this loan by 7/11/2008. They send us the application form which we signed and sent back, the loan should have been with us two to five days after this. The 7th came and went and we only got an offer letter on the tenth. In the mean time we had been advised that should we wish to cancel we would be able to get our fifty five pound admin fee back. My husband rang up today to make sure they give us money back to be met by four hours to get through and put on hold. He had to speak to four different people and ended up talking to some complacent woman who informed him that we are not entitled to that money until january as we have signd them up to be our credit broker for three months. Indeed we probably had but nowhere does it say that they keep the money for three months. These people are totally unprofessional, they'll lie and tell you anything just to keep your money and get their commission.

Extremely high interest
Beginning of this year my partner applied for a loan with yes loans. They took a fee of £49.95 and told him that he would get a loan up to £5, 000. They did not explain that they don't actually give you the loan instead they find you a lender that charges extremley high interest. To cut a long story short we did not get a loan or our fee back. When we tried to get intouch with yes loans they kept putting us in long waiting ques on the phone. When we asked for a manager the manager was not there.
I advise people to keep away from this misleading company.
I am now going to be fighting for my fee back and the claim value includes all the costs of the phoncalls and postage it has cost us as much as the fee.
