I visited your shelter last week and have to say that I am appalled with the conditions that I witnessed. I was very upset. You expect these dogs to get adopted in the condition your shelter has them in. I'm disgusted and very angry to have seen these poor animals who already have it hard with no life, no love, no anything to have sit in their own feces and urine. I need the information as to who is running this establishment. I am going to make sure that this is taken care of. I have many connections when it comes to animals and this shelter is just down right INHUMANE!!! and I am pissed off. I will create a petition against this shelter if need be. Your workers that you have there are low lives with no type of professionalism and these people are getting paid to work here. RIDICULOUS!!! This shelter is a joke and I will make sure everyone knows this. The woman showing us the dogs was telling them that she will "F$&k them up and kick their a#$!!! Nice way to speak to these poor dogs in front of potential adopters. I left this facility in tears. I will be writing about this facility to the mayor and maybe a visit is necessary to witness these horrid conditions. What if you had to live like this. We visited ...it was raining and very cold. Every single one of the dogs were sitting in their own diarrhea and fecal matter as well as urine. Some had vomit...The were given dirty blankets that were completely soaked in feces and water. Upon leaving when the shelter was closing was the only time that I seen the dogs brought in which some people came outside with hoses to run water over the fecal matter and diarrhea. I'm distraught over this vision. I promise I am going to make sure something is done about this and I WILL NOT STOP until it happens. I am disgusted. I will also be putting in a report with the local police station regarding this matter.
Don't you visit any of the facilities that bear Yonkers on it. I know I would want to uphold a good reputation with such a facility Yonkers is looking like nothing more than low life territory and for this I am saddened being that I am a Yonkers resident.
