On 11-4-2005, I placed an order (#CP-254) with yorkridge.com for eight
goblets, at a total cost of $103.05. This was paid using a $100 gift
certificate and the balance of $3.05 charged to my credit card. At that
time, company representative "Steve" told me that the order should
arrive before Christmas. Some time later I was told that the items were
on backorder and would be delayed. I was fine with that, as the goblets
were not ordered as gifts, but for personal use.
More time passes. Finally, on 1-30-2006 I got an email from York Ridge
informing me that my order had been updated to "complete." I think,
"great, should be here soon." No such luck. On 2-21 I write to inform
them that my merchandise never arrived and to please provide tracking
information. No response, so on 4-18 I write again and inform them that
I have been more than paient and they have 14 calendar days to resolve
the problem. This time they send a form letter with some crap about
orders placed during the past 2 months being delayed. (By then my order
was five months old.) As of today, 6-7-06, I have yet to hear any more
from them and still haven't seen my merchandise. I've had it with this
company.
