I purchased a male "teacup" Yorkie from Julie at Yorkilicious well before the puppy was ready to leave it's mother. We were unaware that the puppy was too young to leave it's mother and had to force feed the pup so that it would not die. Julie promised that the puppy would not go over 3 pounds. My puppy is now 5 months and weighs over 4 pounds. I contacted Julie to let her know that the puppy was over the promised 3 pounds and she said that I have to leave food out for him all the time. No scheduled feeding time should be set and that vets do not know what they are talking about when it comes to this particular breed. She indicated that the puppy will eat all day and will possibly vomit the food and play around in it and may appear to be sick, but the puppy will be ok. She also indicated that the puppy may eventually drop the weight and drop below 3 pounds. I was disguisted by her answer and could not possibly believe that she would treat her puppies this way. I intend to file a lawsuit against her individually and her business if this matter is not remedied as soon as possible. I also intend on paying her store another visit with an animal control agent within the coming weeks. I am attempting to reach a contact at a local news company to get a story published on Yorkilicious to attempt to save the animals that are under Julie's care... or shall I say lack thereof.
