Horrible service
I ordered Yoshi blade 2 of them as advertised for $19.99. As the telephonic process kept going on they offered me many other products for which I said no and cancel. As I started saying cancel for extras the call was cut off. i did not receive a confirmation. I had ordered 2 sets with standard shipping that I was expecting within 4 weeks.
Instead a big box from yoshi blades was at my footstep within 2 days in overnight shipping and my Credit card was charged $173. What a scam and a rip off. Please do not buy it---sincere request.

Internet Marketing Scam
Initial offer for ceramic kitchen tools $19.99 + S&H. Website offered two for price of one. Linked to other offers and offered $5 discount. Failed to acknowledge normal delivery and forced into "priority" delivery. No option to review invoice before finalization of order. Automatic billing pushed the price up to $78.93 which included shipping costs of $28.96 but gave a $5 discount for a final charge of $73.93. Shipping cost is bogus as is the offer.

First Use, blade tip broke
Purchased Yoshiblade and veg peeler package at Meijers. During first use, the tip of the knife broke. I called Yoshiblade at 1-800-722-2748 and they refused to pay for shipping to return plus they want $9.99 to cover their costs of shipping and handling for return. What a joke this brittle product is. The knife has an inherint design fault--the ceramic blade is too brittle to withstand "normal" use--however the blade will stay sharp.

Rip off
I bought the Yoshiblade and peeler for my husband at Christmas. Was very pleased with it. Cut very nice and was a wonderful tool for husband in the kitchen. It is now less than a month from purchase and the knife has chipped in two places on the blade from cuttin a TOMATOE. I called the customer service line to try and get a new one only to be told they never had a complaint like this so they can't do anything for me. I guess they never read this site. Not the way to run a buisness. Very poor customer service and unhappy customers. The supervisor didn't didn't even try to work with me. That is not the way to run a buisness if you want people to buy merchandise that you are selling. I will never purchase anything from this company after this experience. I would recommend you don't either.

Overcharges
These people are rip offs!!! At xmas tried to order 2 sets. They were suppose to be $19.99 each with shipping and handling $9.99. Then I was offered another set for free shipping. I finially ordered 4 sets with supposed free shipping on the other 3. When I got my bill, I was billed for the 4 I ordered and then 10 more!!! They charged my cc over $300.00. I have tried and tried to contact them to get the charges removed. They were going to send me a form to fill out to remove charges and I have never received it. I am going to have to try a charge-back on my cc. Do not deal with these people!!! You will be a victim of theft-pure and simple. This is a crime and it is too bad these people can stay in business without being charged. Maybe if a few of them were held accountable they would stop!!!

Huge Pricing Scam
WARNING!!! The merits of the YoshiBlade's functionality may be debatable at best. HOWEVER, ordering from the website is scandalous!!! You are not allowed to confirm your order, so you go throught the long process where you are offered several other blades and knifes, then BOOM, you are charged MUCH MORE THAN YOU SIGNED UP FOR. No way to back out or cancel. And it does not even tell you the full exact amount. You get that when you get your statement as they add on taxes which of course you have to pay (based on the state you live in) but the website should make you aware of the total charge BEFORE you decide to accept the final charges.
This is unscrupulous!!!

Highly deceptive website
Intrigued by the YoshiBlade ad, I decided to try it. During the checkout process, I was offered a chance to upgrade from a single knife to a 4 knife set. I then turned down several additional upgrade offers, but opted for an additional small amount for expedited shipping. Amazingly, the final bill then appeared, *with no back page to amend the order*! This is the first time in all my years ordering items online that I was jumped from a selection page to a final page, without being shown the final price prior to order confirmation.
DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS HIGHLY DECEPTIVE WEBSITE! YOU WILL BE SORRY!

Misleading advertising
I saw the TV advertisement (infomercial?) for Yoshiblade on tv then went the Yoshiblade.com web site to order the knife and peeler. It was advertised as $19.99 plus shipping and handling of $9.99. A second knife and peeler is supposed to be free with the payment of shipping and handling. I filled out the online order form and provided my credit card. Instead of a review of the order after providing the credit card number and being given an option to review or modify my order, I was forced to navigate through several upselling pages where additional items were presented and had to be declined to proceed with the order. I was then presented with a confirmation page which had charged my credit card not $19.99 plus two charges of $9.99 for two sets of knives/peelers, but a total of $73.94. They charged me twice for the knife and peeler sets then $16.98 twice for shipping and handling. No option to modify or cancel the order prior to confirming the order was given. I now must go through the ordeal of contacting the company handling the online sales, and from what I have seen from other complaints about this TV and online scam, jjustg to speak to someone that will resolve the issue will take several calls and a few hours on the telephone

knife marketing
This is the worst of the worst; a new low in consumer fraud.
They spring outrageous shipping charges on the hapless consumer. There's absolutely NO way to contact customer service or rescind the order as the 800 number is a deadend. Even their email is bogus!
Where are the watchdog consumer advocacy agencies who should've decimated this company long ago??? Yoshiblade operates with impunity across all media outlets. It's inexcusable.
