Poor Customer Service
I went into the store on May 30, 2010 to purchase a white blouse for my daughter. I chose three blouses to purchase and out of the three blouses one was out of the package and a little dusty and the only one in my daughter's size. So I asked the salesperson if the manager would give me a discounted price since the shirt was a little dirty. She went to find out and I formed the line in the meantime. While standing on the line behind another customer who was already called to the register, one of the cashiers shouted with an attitude, "Miss, the line is over there" (and pointed to the left of where I was standing). I looked above me and showed her the sign that read "line starts here" and said I thought the line starts here? she then says it does but these people were waiting before you. I did not argue because I knew that the line only had one woman on it and that I joined right behind her. Now, the salesperson comes back and while handing me the shirt, she says the manager stated that "she cannot give you anything off of the shirt". I had to pay full price so I gave her the shirt back and did not purchase it. As I was walking out, about two people asked me to show my receipt. I knew I had to show it because the cashier mentioned it when she gave me the receipt but the way the other two people at the door approached me was really uncalled for. I asked one of the girls at the door for the store number which was #14 in Brooklyn. It was a very terrible experience especially growing up in that same neighbor and now living in a town on Long Island, I am used to be treated much better than h0w I was treated.
