unauthorized charge
on 2-5-09 Your american grant charged my credit card 2.95 for trial period of 7 days, after that the charge would be 49.50, two days later they charged me 49.50. I called and spoke with a rep. they said the charges would be refunded, THAT NEVER HAPPENED. This company is sharing credit card info with Grant Master, both companies are based out of Las Vegas.

Unathorized Charges
On 4/1/09, I called 866-546-0923 and spoke with a female about the unauthorized charges that appeared on my debit card on about 2/6/09. She told me to e-mail Janet Johnson at [email protected]. I was unable to directly email her and let her know about my complaints. This is only about the 3 or 4th time I have tried to resolve this issue and so far it has been to no avail. I am very upset at this matter. |

Check card debited $59 for a grant CD that was suppose to be only $3.99 for S & H
Some time @ Feb. 6, I was looking on the internet and saw where I could receive a free CD containing information regarding how to obtain government grants. I was particularly interested because Pres. Obama's name appeared on the site and it was as he endorsed the selling of the CD. The site was advertising a free CD, only pay S & H. So I submitted my infomation, never seeing anything about a bill for $59.08, because I nver would have boutght it. I know that it did not appear. I have called at least 3 times, left messages, and have not had any of my calls returned. I think this was totally a scam and deceptive techniques was used to bill my check card. I was told that what I signed up for was use of a internet site for a month. I never knew this was part of the deal. I talked to a person, at the # 866-546-0923, I don't know a name on 4/1/09 who stated that I could not get my money back because I had 7 days to do so. I did not read any info that told me that. I did not even have a internet site to go to. I told the lady that I have not used the CD and that I will send it back and she could refund the money. She still said she could not do that and that I could put the CD in the trash, that it was the free gift. So with all of this said, I am demanding to have my checking account debited 59.08 as soon as possible.

Scam
Charged 3.95 for shipping a fee CD. When I got my bank statement, they had made an unauthorized charge of $49.50 and then another one of $74.95. I received the CD a month later. Seems in the fine print (not on their ad or order form mind you) they claim you are subscribing to a service at the time of your order for a 7 day free trial. Problem is you need to access the CD they haven't sent you!
Total scam and the bank said they can't help because it is their terms and conditions. Advised me to change my card number as they know that this merchant is a scam.

Unauthorized Charges/Item not received
Offer was given over the phone. I was to receive and email to confirm (never recieved). My credit card was charge the orginal $2.95 for the initial charge and then was also charges $49.50 for items I never ordered or received.

Unauthorized charges
The company I only know as 'Your American Grant' and website address of 'youramericangrant.com' tried to take out $58.61 from my checking account. Lucky for me, my bank called about this fraudulent transaction. I closed my debit card account so they would not have any further access to my funds. I have filed a fraud report with my bank.

hi i purchased the grant for 1.95 also but i got a notice from my bank a few days ago telling me that there was a charge of 58.61. I immediatly called my bank to dispute it. I also called the company to ask them about it. the first time i called they hung up on me. the second time i called they answered and a rude guy answered the phone. they told me that me account was canceled but my bank is going to cancel my card and account and start a new one.

Internet Fraud
I signed up for access to this company's database through Facebook. They said it would cost $1.95. I was sent to a website which I now cannot find and attempted to access grant information. It did not work. I sent a complaint through their website and never heard from them.
A few days later I received a phonecall from them. The woman said they wanted to send me "something" and she was going to record the call. I refused to be recorded. She hung up on me. Next, they debited my bank account for $58.61. I never agreed to this charge.
It is now Sunday night and tomorrow is a holiday, so I am unable to contact my bank to contest the charge or request a dispute form. These people are going to be sorry they messed with me. I will be calling these people incessantly until they refund my money. I will also be reporting them to Facebook and the Better Business Bureau, and will involve an attorney if necessary.
