Cruise Scam
Paid for cruises for five individuals for September 2010. Everytime I call to schedule the cruises I get a recording that says that someone will call me back. Nobody ever returns my call.

SCAM
These people are scam artists. They don't return calls or call when they are leaving for the day. They need to be put out of business. This idiot who works for them thought the Bahamas was south of the equator. They suck.

Fraud
My girlfriend and I recieved a message from "Your Travel Headquarters" saying that we had won a free cruise and that we needed to call them back that day to redeem it.
To be brief, we did so and asked all the pertinent info about the trip, and how much it would cost and if there were any other fees, expenses etc. The rep explained that it was a "free" promotional trip and that the only thing we had to pay was a departure fee of $190.00 for the 2 of us and any expenses that we might incur to get to the cruise ships' port of departure in Miami, Fla. which was a Royal Carribean ship. I asked sternly and specifically, "and that is all, and nothing more, no other fees or charges will be applied or assesed, correct?" He replied, "Yes, those are the only expenses and no other charges would be applied" According to him, we had 18 months to use the trip, and we needed to pay the $190.00 immediately or forefit or "prize". We did so and last month decided to book a date only to later find out that there would be approximately another $550 dollars to book our trip. I told the rep that I wanted to cancel, and be issued a refund since we were misled/defrauded. He flat out refused a refund, saying "we have a no refunds policy" I was also reading other info and articles that said these government departure fees ARE refundable, especially if the person/s do/does not show up.
I have also filed a complaint with the BBB online and discovered that they have an "F" rating, however almost all the people with complains reached a settlement. I have also contacted Christopher Elliott - Elliott is National Geographic Traveler magazine’s reader advocate and writes the syndicated Travel Troubleshooter column, which appears in more than 50 U.S. newspapers and Web sites.

He produces a popular weekly commentary on MSNBC.com and writes the Navigator column in Sunday’s Washington Post.

He called the company on my behalf and told me to await a response. You can contact him at http://www.elliott.org/contact

Cruise Scam
They tell you that they are selling a cruise for a set price $88.00 and then they call you months later and tell you that the 88.00 is towards "taxes and port" fees and now it's going to be additional 148.00 and another 20.00 - I asked the rep about any port fees or taxes and Joshua said point blank "I see no port fees for this cruise " . On top of the scam, they are moving the prots around. I hope no CRUISE line will work with these SCAMMERS. They are RIP OFF ARTISTS !!!

Scam
Well it looks like Ms. Madeline Allerton and her cronies and DBA's (TSN International, Star Vacation Club, VRM Management, Inc., Star Vacations, Harbor Resort Management) have developed a new LATEST AND GREATEST scam in line with the tough economic times.

DO NOT fall for Your Travel Headquarters "taxes only" cruise packages. They sell you the cruise and then you get an AWARD Voucher in the mail that you have to try to collect from Incentive Marketing Group...google that one.

These guys are slick... thank goodness they have a lawyer with them in the same building in Batavia.

Oh, just a side note...a quick check of the BBB Batavia report as of this date 9/24/09 has them rated as an F with 138 complaints registered in the past 18 months. HOW MANY MORE have been scammed but do not register their complaints.

Make the right choice and stay away from YOUR TRAVEL HEADQUARTERS and any other DBA company they use to scam.

Thanks to the folks in Batavia for taking advantage of families looking to have some quality of life during tough times.
