This business charges you approx. $49 and then let's you figure out how you've been defrauded. They use nonsensical lies such as, "we're going to go through the transcript of your call to see whether you've ordered the service or not" and on top of that, they called my cell phone and we were disconnected, so they are the worst set of lying bastards and they need to refund my money. I'm not stopping with posting a complaint.

I visited a website for a cd that was to cost 2.95 and this company charged my account 58.18 and I have never been to their site or authorized this charge

I was just scammed by this company, how they work is they give you instant access to thier resources for grants for $1.95 and you think that's the only charge until you are surprised exactly 7 days later to find that they charged your credit card $58.61. You don't actually see these terms and conditions until you pay the $1.95 and they send an order confirmation to your email address. Didn't think too much about it when I received it, I just confirmed the charge of $1.95. Today when I found that I was charged $58.61 I quickly looked for a phone number and when you call you are put on hold and no one ever answers. I tried the only 2 numbers I could find...800.235.1364 & 877.247.3935 neither one works. I logged onto their website and found that if you select to contact them their is an option to cancel your subscription to their resource center but the site doesn't actually let you submit it. The only way that i know how to cancel this and protect myself from future charges is to cancel my card and order a new one.
