$159.00 charge on account not authorized.
Glanced at website Zbiddy.com for optional bidding for electronics (similar to E bay). Found charges to my credit card for $ 159.00 as if I had purchased something. I have received nothing and bid on nothing. If the law does not correct this outright theft, then injustice will continue to be a way of life. Bill Burton

deceptive pratices
BEWARE OF ZBIDDY.COM AUCTIONS-after being linked to zdiddy i saw items going really cheap(ha) so i thought i would get in on this. little did i know that this was just a guise to rip you and me off . i could not bid until i registered which i did. when i went to bid i couldn't bid until i registered my credit card info which read at the top "where can we send your winnings to" so i proceded to fill out the info in case i bought something all the info would be there. well i went to bid and couldn't until i checked the box at the bottom of the credit info start bidding. well---i still couldn't bid so i went to my inbox mail to see if i needed to click on something to firm up the registering but instead found an email where i just purchased 100 bids for 45.00 which i didn't have any knowledge of. so i replied no i didn't and refund my money on my credit card. well i guess i shouldn't have done that because l9 minutes later i received another email saying i just purchased their most popular bid package of 265 bids for the low price of $159.00 which i didn't, of course. in just 19 minutes they charged me $204.00. upon email complaint again i heard nothing. so i called customer service and they told me someone would call me back in 24-72 hours. so i flipped, boy did i flip and i don't mean the finger. in the blink of an eye they charged me the first 45.00 and could not refund my 45.00 . what the heck do you call that? i spoke to a floor manager that said she was trying to help me and to calm down. all the questions i asked she had no answer for except to repeat "is it on your credit card statement?". i told her to quit asking that same question as the answer was i don't have it yet. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A CLASS ACTION SUIT I THINK WE HAVE A N EXCELLENT CASE FOR ONE. IF YOU LOOK AT THE COMPLAINTS THROUGHOUT THE INTERNET MOST PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CHARGED $159.00. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THESE AND ARE INTERESTED IN A CLASS ACTION PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS. I FEEL THAT WE NEED TO SHUT ZBIDDY DOWN AND OUT OF BUSINESS. LET ME KNOW YOUR OPINIONS AND HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT THIS IDEA. IF YOU HAVE HAD A GOOD TRANSACTION WITH THIS ECOMPANY I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT IT. THANKS SO MUCH FOR LISTENING AND BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU GO ON THE NET.

scam
When you register they automatically take $159 out of your account without asking or telling you that you are going to be charged. I looked into what it was about and noticed that the clock never runs down on the "bids" and it is the same people "bidding" on this scam. When I contacted them to get my money back they immediately withdrew they money from my account instead of providing customer service. They behaved like the cyber pirates that they are.

unauthorized charges
Zbiddy, the internet auction charged my credit card with out my authorization. I was registring and changed my mind but my credit card was charged somehow before submitting or confirming what they carged me for.
This company should be terminated and or penalized. I noticed that more customers have been victamized .

buyer beware
Ok so I've read a lot of zbiddy complaints.
Yes this website is a scam you have to put money down before you can join. But for all of you who have been scammed by them you obviously didn't read the whole page.
When you are asked to give your billing information it says just above it that the total package charge was $159!
I'm sorry if you feel ripped off but when your entering any new website where you might have to pay for something those that are legit will not ask for your billing information until you have won a bid or selected an item.
I don't mean to be harsh but I am only 19 years old and your trying to tell me that a bunch of middle aged people who should know better than me got ripped off because they didn't read the whole damn page?!
Buyer beware things are not always what they seem read everything before handing out your information!!!
Sincerely,
Brianna

fraud
I was on Overstock.com and when it asked for credit info I did so thinking I was still on Overstock, but zbiddy had hacked into my transaction and next thing I know I've purchased 265 bids, a dollar value of $159.00! Major scam! Don't do it.

Marketing Scam
This site lures people into spending $150 under the illusion that they will be able to get high priced electronics for marginal prices in an ebay-like online auction environment. After spending the money, and going to the real auction pages, the user finds out that the chance of actually winning an auction are close to nothing. The trick is that you pay by the bid, and in order to win an item, you might have to spend a significant amount of money just to win (especially if it is a decent product). $150 dollars is a lot of money to drop only to find out you will probably never get the return. There are literally only 50 or less running auctions at a time with hundreds if not thousands of bidders competing for that "final bid". Most of their money is made from people getting lured in to trying out the auction house, paying the sign up fee, and then finding out that it was a total waste of money. I had to learn the hard way and am $150 short with no return, but hopefully this can prevent further people from getting scammed as such.

Fraudulent Charges
They do not tell you upfront that they are going to charge you $159.00 for bidding. When you contact this company they tell you that the notification "pops up" before you hit "okay". This is a total LIE!!! I checked out the site, I looked to see if I would be charged... no mention until they have YOUR INFO to bill!!! I contacted their supposed "customer service dept" who said they would place a refund back to my account. They NEVER gave me the credit!!! Now I am disputing this charge with my credit card company. BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE THIS SITE. FYI, I believe that it is also rigged to never win a bid. Every time the bid drops to 10 seconds it automatically adds time so that it continues, then when you do try to place a bid, it won't place it. TOTAL SHAM!!!
