I did a media buy with Zedo, Inc and the terms of the media buy had a 24 hour out clause attached to it. In the industry it is a given that if/when an outclause is exercised the buy is canceled after the prescribed time period is over and the remaining funds are distributed back to the individual. I have done this time and time again and every company I've ever done business with has refunded the monies in a timely manner. I exercised my 24 hour out clause as the buy was not working out and asked for the remaining funds to be returned. Zedo at this point said, We have an "internal policy" not to return funds. This internal policy was never disclosed and since when does an internal policy that is not disclosed to a client take precedent over a legally binding contract which clearly states an out clause and has industry precedent in place to return remaining funds. They now refuse to refund my money and are engaging in theft as far as I'm concerned as they did not disclose their policy nor can you find this policy anywhere on their website (as of 10/5/2010). In my book, that is FRAUD!
