Johnson Company cheapen the quality of the Ziploc Double Zipper Multi-Purpose quart bag.
The new but not better "Fresh Shield" bag is over a gram lighter and thinner and does not have the abrasion resistance of the older version. My guess is that Johnson redesign the bag to reduce the reuse of the storage bags which would increase sales.

Ziploc use to be a quality product. Now it is just another generic plastic storage bag, indistinguishable from all the other cheap bags.
