Bought Onkyo home theater receiver TX-SR505 Aug 2007; in november of this year, it stopped working (wouldn't turn on). Though it was a few months past its two year warranty, I contacted Onkyo, as it's ridiculous for an expensive piece of equipment like this to stop working after only 2 years. I purchased the TonidoPlug device about the first week in Nov. 2009. The device never worked as stated. The documentation is next to nothing and any support is crpytic at best. No Phone Number for support. Several emails I sent got a response of, "your issue has been resolved" They have a forum where you post your problems with this product. My husband ordered WMR100N - advanced weather station with wireless sensor. One day after installing the system, the temperature/humidity sensor failed. He contacted technical support through their web site and was promised a replacement unit. Two weeks later, with no replacement in hand, he called customer service and all they could tell him was that the request had been submitted. In the meantime, the rain gauge failed to work. I bought an Asus computer from Best Buy on 7/25/09. they installed Kapersky antivirus on the computer and it was good for 6mths. On Nov 19th my computer went crazy and it said I was infected with Trojans on all my files. Gainsaver runs a scam. The first Macbook we ordered arrived but the display got totally corrupted after a few minutes of operation. We were promised a replacement which never arrived. On Dec.2, 2009, we received our credit card statement and Webroot had charged two (2) renewals to our account for $59.95 each or a total of $119.90 We were NOT notified that Webroot was going to renew. I purchased a samsung printer on or about February 2009 and the printer stopped working in October 2009. I was sent a replacement as they repaired mine. The replacement was defective also. During my call they alleged that they were having problems with credit cards. How could that be possible if my card had been charged already? All I wanted was the good deal on a Nikon camera. The told me that Nikon didn't come with certain warranties, batteries, charger, etc., and then they said they would give me a great deal on these items. Turned out that Nikon product does come with the warranties, batteries, charger, etc., except I end up paying much more than had I bought it locally. They also said I would be given free express delivery. It took a week and I was charged $49.50. To return item, I will be further charged a restocking fee that makes it an even greater loss. We purchased a straight talk phone and card at Walmart. Took it outside and attempted to scratch the black off the pin number area to see the pin. The black came off but so did the pin numbers. Went back into Walmart and was informed very rudely at customer service that the cards are not refundable as stated on the packaging.
