I noticed a few providers on shipalmostanything that were banned from uship for scamming and operating outside their DOT authority. Avoid zoneedit.com. After paying them for DNS service, they ignore you. They don't respond to support questions from email or from their support webpage form. I have DNS service for 3 of my domains, and none of them work any longer (for several months). No notice of downtime. No replies to support questions. They just take your money and run. Centurylink offered to upgrade my internet speed to 10 gb from 1.5 for ten dollars per month more in January. Since then, I have spent somewhere near 25 hours on the phone with them pluggin in and unplugging my modem and running various tests to determine why the speed is acceptable in the morning but then decreases as the day progresses down to under 1 gb (sometimes even lower). Had this company contracted to come out and do 10 areas in our house today. We picked this company specifically because they do dry carpet cleaning and not wet. We were told that furniture would be moved. I bought an ebook off Tom Barnes over a month ago. He offered me a full refund if I was not happy. The product was rubbish. Gave me no more information about selling on eBay that I didn't already know. So I asked for his 56-day iron clad refund. Hah! He didn't respond. I emailed him over 10 times but still he wouldn't reply. There was no address or phone number or any other way of contacting him on his website. Then a friend told me she'd had a similiar experience and had opened a dispute with PayPal. I followed her advice and within 24hrs of opening up the item dispute my money had been refunded. Phew! He claims to be selling valid 2-day Disneyland Park Hopper passes for $75 each. He actually just ripped them off from Safeway, without getting the tickets ‘activated’.
