I spoke with suppose rep Jay Dixon on 2/11/09 and told me that this company sells all types of timeshares. He asked me for details of my timeshare and told me that he had a customer interesting in my unit and want to buy it. Offer me to pay $25, 250 american dollars for my timeshare unit, and get $2, 125 x 1wk because I wasn't going to use it for this year. Ask me to pay $1, 795 dollars at front for title search and when timeshare is sold I will get all my money add together by the end of transaction. If this scam (we received the letter/check today) is as prevalent as our quick google search revealed, why on earth has no one done anything about this?! One comment here said that Wells Fargo said they get thousands of these checks everyday, yet no investigator has bothered to trace the number supplied on the letter to stop these crooks? I answered an internet ad for a disc listing government grants available. The price of the disc was $2.95 which I charged on my credit card. A month later, a charge appeared from the same company for $39.95; I protested the charge and demanded a refund, which I never got. Now, a month later, I have been charged another $39.95! Lily who is their main spokesman announced in front of the room full of people that there are 1000 children and only 30 kids will be selected. Do not even consider of filling out the information for emillionaire. You have to read the fine print which is so small you need a magnifying glass to read the fine print. You will not receive any books. The first thing, they charge you 2.00 for the first week. Then they charge you 47.00 right after that. Even when you cancel the order they will charge you the 47.00. The person that I talked to could barely speak any English for the cancellation. I tried to get my two dollars back they will tell you that cannot refund that either even if you call immediately and cancel. This is one that you should pass on. Couriers number is somewhere in Manitoba, Canada and they promise to deliver them to your door. I placed an order to www.grantfundingexpress.com/www.granthelporder.com (order #1245985) on 1 March 2009 for a CD on GrantWriting which was suppose to be free but a $1.93 shipping cost would be required, I authorized the $1.93 to be paid on my CC, however my account was hit on 3/2/09 for $74.95 and on 3/4/09 it was hit for $29.95, and as of this writting I have not received the CD nor have I communicated with any one from this company. I was surprised this morning to find that my checking account had been charged $83.88 by some company named 'CMG Insiders Club.' Fendi wallet (M80031) received was inconsistent with the wallet photographed on the company's website. The website indicates that its products are '100% Authentic Guaranteed'. Upon consultation I discovered that the product shipped appears to be a counterfeit. I went to a celebrity web page on my free paysite, that said it was free to it's members, I am a member of my free paysite. when I went to sign up, I was asked for my credit card info. I gave said information, and found out that I am being charged $35.00 for a site that is said to be free. On more than one occasion I have sent emails to the company asking for my money back. I haven't gotten any response, they leave no number to contact them because they have the intention of ripping you off. Ordered items that were in stock and future release in Nov. and Dec. of 08. Items were not sent at that time until orders could be filled in complete. Items cost were deducted from my credit card at that time to insure that I would be first to recieve my order if the orders ran short or had to be reordered.
