I have made hotel booking with AsiaRooms.com, I have made some inquiry about cancelling the hotel booking. AsiaRooms has replay that they will charge 1 night room fee for cancelling the room if you like to cancel less than 7 days of the hotel check-in date. I booked a stay at a hotel through agoda and noticed last minute that I/they got the wrong dates. I called to cancel/change but it turned out that agoda is based in Asia and is ahead 12 hrs of the U.S., so when i thought i was within the cancellation period, i actually wasn't, because they were past the international dateline. To whom it may concern. A friend of mine from Accra, Ghana had made plans to fly klm to Dublin Ireland. He got a price from the airlines and proceeded to pay for his transit visa to Amsterdam. He paid for it but when he went to purchase his airplane ticket they increased the price by over 200 euros. Since he could not afford this price he went to another airline.
