I purchased a Pandigital 6"novel on March 25, 2011. On April 7, 2011 the screen cracked from the inside. It is a touch screen and this has left it completely unusable. When I tried to return it to Best Buy at A-810 St. James Street, Winnipeg MB R3G 3J7 I was told by the Supervisor and Operations Manager that they could not return a product that was damaged because it could not be resold. Since January, bills have been posted without my authorization to my HBC mastercard. Every month I have contacted them, they graciously forward my call to Memberworks with whom they have an agreement, and I have a discussion with the client rep about the unauthorized charge. Airstream owner Ed Michaelchuk told me he does not charge a service call charge. He said his workers would diagnose the problem with my furnace very quickly and I would be charged for any new parts plus installation I needed for the repair. Although I had an appointment he kept me waiting for 1 hour extra from the scheduled appointment time.
