Walk Two Moons - Sharon Creech - MACMILLAN
miss13 June 4, 2009
I bought this book and realised that the first few chapters where missing and replaced by the last chapters. I did send it back for another but when the new book came back, the last chapters where missing and replaced by the first chapters! I did not ask for my money back which was €4.00 and did not send the book back for you see I am only 13 years old but still outraged!! I would like to get my money back still but I have left it too late!!! So, my advice I would never buy from these publishers: ( MACMILLAN) again!! But I will still continue my love for books, but I'll be very cautious in the near future!!! read full review »

Ritz Carlton, Powerscourt, Co Wicklow, Ireland
very unhappy customer June 3, 2009
I stayed in the Ritz Carlton in May 2009. My credit card is still awaiting a pre authorisitation to be lifted even though I have paid the hotel in full, in cash on the day of check out. I spoke with the General Manager about the problem and found him to have a serious lack of understanding and customer service skills, which included raising his voice at me. I would never stay in this so called 5 star establishment again, I would have received a better service staying in a bed and breakfast. read full review »

I bought a service to allow me to watch live rugby online. Satellite TV for you PC. I purchased the bronze package for €30. But can't seem to download it or even set up my membership profile. I set up a profile but it does not recognise my name and password and when I put in my email address to allow them to send me the password, no password is sent despite the website assuring me it will be sent.

So I suspect it is a big rip off. Eurovision
CF1 May 16, 2009
Block voting is destroying Eurovision! Eurovision is lacking enjoyment pretty much the only way for countries in western Europe to get through to the final is to pay their way in and even then they don't have a chance of winning. The eastern Europeans have a complete different taste in music then the western Europeans. I think we should end block voting and different tastes in music by having 2 eurovisions one for western Europe and one for Eastern. Please sign my petition to send to Eurovision :-... read full review »

Just wondering if you've had similar stories from other Irish holiday makers, we booked our Honeymoon to New York and Mexico the day before the swine flu outbreak, we paid a €2000 deposit, and although the WHO and the DFA have advised that non essential travel to Mexico be cancelled, we can't get our money back. Our travel agent TWOHIGS has advised us that we can't change our flights or destination without losing our money. We're getting married in 3 weeks, and although the press coverage about swine flu seems to have... read full review »

Kevin Ginty Wicklow Ireland
aboutkevinginty May 11, 2009
This is a permanent public information page about Kevin Ginty, the man who gives the good people of Ireland, Irish Trade and Co Wicklow a terrible reputation. Ginty negotiated purchasing of goods from various suppliers for his business First Aid Express Limited under credit terms and good faith. Large debts are now significantly overdue and several legal final demands have been issued. He has made many promises to pay his supply chain, but fails to do so on every occasion. Despite taking receipt of the goods, his businesses show... read full review »

Last year I was going through a rough patch and went to this liveperson.com website and hired a psychic-spell caster by the name of Angelo, aka. 'Mystic Knight' He claimed to be able to bring back a lover in 21 days or less for 174 USD To do this he asked for a 5 star review straight after paying and before anything happened. After nothing happened, this "psychic-spell caster" claimed that it was my fault that things didn't work and he did deliver what he had promised. The only thing that happened is I lost... read full review »

Murrays Europcar
Matthias Boese April 18, 2009
I reserved a car for 3 days for approx. 35 EUR. I held my confirmation in my hands going to the pick-up counter in DUB Airport. When I wanted to collect the car, the member of staff showed me an agreement stating more than EUR 120, 00 (!). Without asking me, she added a "gas package", paying for a full amount of gas that I didnt request (which is -by the way - much more expensive than just driving to a gas station before dropping the car). She also added the VAT and an airport collection charge (25 EUR). I know this charge... read full review »

The man has no clue how to talk to people & also has his wife who knows nothing about fitness instruction doing his job for him while she minds their baby in the gym. It is a ridculous set up. Very unprofessional. His only concern is that he makes money weather his job is done or not. He even has a picture of himself dressed as superman on the wall. My wife ordered and paid for a pair of Ugg boots for me from this company. She requested a UK size 8 and a half. When I received them there was absolutely no way that they were going to fit me. In fact, my wife takes a UK size 6 and they were too small for her!! We also found the quality a highly suspect so we asked for a refund. They refused citing, "they did not refund unless the product was deemed unwearable".!!! Do they expect me to have a foot reduction? Beware of this dodgy company. read full review »
