Bought an $1800 3-door / bottom freezer Maytag/whirlpool refrigerator from Lowe's six years ago. The compressor went & they want $700 to repair. I WILL NOT spend $700 to repair a 6 year old fridge that will probably die again. MAYTAG's are JUNK. Really difficult company to deal with. I recently signed up for Humana/ Compbenefits dental plan through my credit union. I sent in my first premium as instructed in Nov. 2010. In December they double drafted me which left my account $2.00 overdrawn and my payment was refused. The bank in turn charged me a $29 OD fee. They have been applying all of the extra principal after they add on the intrest. And sometimes they don't subtract the extra principle until I make the next months payment. I made a payment of 10000.00 and the intrest amount doesn't change.
