Fraud & cheating!
Filled the information out on the internet for a credit card. Took $159.95 from my checking account on May 29, 2007 and still have not heard or received anything for my money. Have called several times and get nowhere.

Poor service!
As I'm the account holder for the last 4 to 5 years (2003 - 2007) in axis bank. I'm applying for credit card 3 months before, i.e., i think on july month. But they didn't response me properly, even though im an account holder. They simply told me on this september month, that your card request is declined, and not providing me proper reason.
So, i am mentally upset for using this bank account for the past 4 years without any single use!

Malpractice!
Even as I was least interested in a card, an agent pursued me till he got my icici credit card made. I used the card and was not very familiar about it. My first bill came after a long time by which time my second or third bill should have come. I could not pay the entire amount. Since then the bill kept going north and I guess I have paid more in interest and fines than in actual purchases. I thought, when my expenses through card would reach the limit, further purchases would be declined through card, but no it crossed the limit and they kept charging overlimit charges that I accidentally discovered in my bill one day. I asked the company to stop further transactions through the card and make EMIs for the outstanding amount but they didn't.

Bills and payments
I am holding an sbi credit card which is now blocked by the bank for non-payment. It is the fact that i didn't receieved any bill of the same for the past six months . On time to time i informed the bank on their helpline but i was always informed that i will be delivered a duplicate bill for the same which never camed. The bank authorites were also not providing any necessary information to me on the phone line regarding the payment details and the minimum amount to be payed. After some months they informed me that i have to pay an amout of rs.16,000/- directly not only this some times the amount becamed 12,000/- some times it became 14,000/- they themselves are not fixed in the amount at the same time i am fed up with recovery agents who are not only giving bad words on my cellphone but also using vulgar langauages on my landline. I hope someone will listen to my complaint.

This is bring to your kind notice that in spite of all my cooperation with your Bank officers ( Ms. Rashmi Singh ,Mr. Sanjay Pal and Mr. Rupesh Diwedi ) as well as collecting agents , they are refusing to provide me the feedback on my communication exchanged with your good bank for wrong communication made re. expenses not incurred by the undersigned .Moreover , they are putting unnecessary pressure on the undersigned to make the payment towards my Credit Card statement .Copies of my communication is also forwarded to Mr. Sanjay Pal from your bank through the collecting agent to provide me the feedback on the said issue , which remained with them without any written response . My statement date is 5th of every month - these officer are pressuring me to pay the min amount of Rs. 2500/- before 5th of Sep while I am ready to pay all amount of Rs. 28,122.50 towards the expenses incurred by me at actuals without any further delay .
For your information, this is situation is disturbing my working schedule and your officers will be fully responsible for the consequences .

It is very much irresponsible way to harass your clients by sending the statement and SMS for the expenses not incurred by them . This is for your information and record .

Poor service!
I applied for the credit card back in the month of June'07 and even got my reference no that the application for my credit card has been received... It has been 2 months now I never got my credit card... I got a reference call stating that mine credit card has been processed. I'll get in 7-10 days. I said "fine." It has been now more than 2 months I've never received my card and now they are not even calling me...

Unnecessary charges on credit card
These is regarding the unnecessary charges forced on my credit card account. I got this credit card in 2003 with expiry date in oct 2005. In the month of June 2004 I made some purchase of amount near 1000. I was not sent the credit card statement for that month but statement with the late payment and finance changes (Rs 200) in the next month. I called up customer care and they assured me that this amount would be reverted in next month's statement. I paid the amount other than extra charges but next month they again added extra charges over the extra charges in previous month. I again called up customer care and they again told me that by next month charges will be reverted back. The same thing kept on going and in october I applied for the cancellation. They sent a letter saying there were some miscommunication from the sales person and they want me to continue with this card. I again called up customer care and they told me to send the original copy of this letter by dropping it in the drop box. When I asked to personally meet and handover the letter in person, they told that its not possible. They always prefer to talk on phone. At the end, I went to the HDFC office in Indiranagar (Bangalore). I talked to a person and he told me that he checked my account and they will definitely revert back the amount. He mentioned that right now he can not do it as this has to be done by some other team but he was 100% sure that this would be done. When I told him to give me written proof, he told me that he can not give any written proof but this will be done surely in 2 to 3 months time. When I asked why it should take 2 to 3 months time, he stated that they were in a process of auditing all the accounts as it was year end. I asked him what about the statements that every month I am getting. He told that not to worry, credit card statements are automatically generated so I will get it, but in 3 months all amounts and extra charges will be reverted. After 3 months when nothing happened, I called up customer care. They told that we can not do anything on this regard. Our database shows that Rs 2000 is pending in your account and you have to pay this amount. I told them that I want to discontinue the card. They told that you have to write a letter and drop it any drop box. I did the same but my card was not canceled. Again when I called them they mentioned that they never received the letter. I went to Indiranagar office again. I talked to the same person. He told me that he checked my account and it shows that all charges will be reverted in next months statement. I told me to give me written proof and as I can not make bank understand about this. He told that he can not give any written proof. Even I went to main branch of HDFC bank in Kasturba Road in Bangalore but they said that we don't take credit card issues here and you will have to call at certain numbers. He mentioned that head office is in chennai so I need to contact there. This was really frustrating. Either of the three ways, I could not get any written letter. Customer care said other thing, the person I personally met told me some other thing. I had no option rather than to believe the person I talked personally. I wrote a letter again and destroyed my card and dropped it drop box. I called up customer care and they again denied to have received the letter. I told them that I have already dropped it and I don't have any proof and they also denied to give any personal contact and office address where I can directly go and handover the card. I told them that I have destroyed by card and please stop sending me the statements. From next month (April 2005) they stopped sending me statements. I took it as the matter has been closed. But this was my mistake. Just a week ago, (July 2007) after 2 years they sent me another letter saying that I have Rs 5000 amount pending. When I talked to the credit card department they talked very rudely. They told me to show written proof if any. I told them written proof was never given to me. Now they are demanding Rs 5000 from me. They blocked my HDFC salary account and my cheque was bounced that I paid towards other bank credit card charges. They deducted Rs 350 for cheque bounce. I talked to a Manager in credit card department but she talked very rudely saying that I have to pay the amount if I fail to show any written proof. I don't know what should I do now. They have almost trapped me. When I asked to give any office address where I can talk to any senior person, she declined straight forward saying that it has to be done through phone only. I just don't know what to do.

Pin number not issued, wrong name in addon card
I have applied for a credit card with UTI Bank and received the same 10 days ago. But i have not received the PIN number. I also received an add on card for my wife. The name indicated in the add on card is wrong. Instead of T. Hemamalini it is indicated as T. Hemamani.
I tried to contact your customer care executive in the customer care no's provided by the Bank, but nobody attends the call. Every time it says "please wait while we transfer the call to customer care Exec. But only the background music is playing nobody attends the call. I am totally fed up.
