poor customer service
Fifth Third totally mistreated me over a recent credit card payment. I got paid on Friday and realized that my payment was due on Sunday. I tried to make payment after work, only to realize that Fifth Third closed by 5:00. The next day, I attempted to mail my payment 24 hour service from several different places (which was suggested by the 5/3 customer service rep.) only to discover that no place will deliver on Sunday. When I called back for help, they said they would make an exception and take a "payment by phone" (for which they charged me $17.75). When I got my statement, I discovered that they also charged me a $39.00 late fee and jacked up my interest rate. Where is this credit card reform that our legislators have been promising? Can they get away with this type of treatment?

Late Fees
I could never get set up to make an on-line payment to my account - I tried several times. So I set up payment from my bank - I send it 6 or 7 days in advance of the due date.
I get a late fee every month of $35.00.
I think they give you a late fee even if they got your payment. I don't think I've ever had a month without a late fee.
I never get a late fee anywhere else ever.

they told me that i owed them 1200 for a credit card charge but i never had bank of America as my bank.i have US bank and a credit card but i have not yet activated.

Dressbarn/World Financial Network National Bank Practices
I have been having fraudulent activity on my bank accounts...yes plural. I made a pmt. on my Dressbarn account and realized shortly after (less than 24 hours) that I had entered the account # for the same bank but on the checks that should have been tossed. However, I made a duplicate pmt hoping it would suffice...wrong. Anyway, the company stopped accepting the 2nd pmt. and billed me for the nsf which is understood. They went on to disallow online pmts for approximately 2-3 months and then reinstated my online pmts. Needless to say, without notice they closed out my account I am still paying on without any indication as to why until recently one somewhat intelligent Dressbarn employee stated "You attempted to make a payment (fraudulent) on a closed account." Again, I tried to right a wrong as soon as I noticed the error. This pathetic company did not try to contact me...they just inadvertently closed the account.

APR RATES
CapitalOne recently sent out notices to card holders that they are raising apr rates to over 24%. During the middle of a recession!!! Just because they haven't handled their business well and they are in "the red" they are passing the buck off to card holders so the consumer has to pay! Cancel your cards!!!

i received a letter in the mail and thought it would be a good idea to activate it well i went to the website and didnt want to activate it anymore. AND NOW I HAVE A BANK STATEMENT FOR BEING CHARGED $79.00 AND IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN I WANT A RESPONSE AND I WANT TO KNOW WHO AND WHAT REASON THEY DID THIS LOW PAY INC IS NOT A GOOD COMPANY I WANT THE MONEY BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT

increase interest with out cause
citi, increased my credit card interest from 9.00 to 24, 99 without reason. we give these people money to stay in business and in turn they charge an amount not even affordable.

Ok you have my cell phonew on your data base and keep calling please remove me from your data base. You 816-420-1002 is the number that calls me when I have tried to solve the problem they ask me for information you shouldn't nor do I want to give out. Your represenative ansering was very rude when I asked hime about this.
Get my number off you auto dail data base: 925-519-1734.

Credit Card Application
I would like to complain regarding application of Credit Card & Master Card at once of your branch at Taiping Perak.
I have applyiong above Credit Card / Master Card for 2 time with completed detail accord to your good company requested but the result to return back to us is "Rejected" According to my Pay Slip (work at Singapore) & 8A form show that i have qualifies to make all your (CIMB BANK) requirement. Can you please help to check why there have been rejected by your bank.
