On January 21, Jessica (the woman who answered the phone) failed to enter the correct number of days for safelisting and I was towed. After filing a complaint with the BBB and contacting the HOA, Patrol masters finally sent me "copies" of their citations they claimed they issued - a month and a half after I first asked for them. When making a purchase using a Visa or Mastercard Id is not required as long as card is signed however Adams Auto Parts seems to think they can rewrite the terms of service in which they agreed to with visa and mastercard services and on several occasions denied my purchase because I would not let them use my license or any other ID.This is a clear violation with Visa /Mastercard and opening yourself to ID theft by anyone at NAPA who has access to any records ...who knows where this info winds up maybe thrown in a dumpster out back where... read full review »

I took my Kia Picanto in for it's 60 000 km service, on Tuesday 1 March 2011. Chantelle phoned me to say that the clutch needed repairs and it would cost aproximately R6000.00. I then informed her that I have a maintenance plan. Surely they need to check these details before phoning a client informing them of what is wrong on their vehicle. Ii used to rtequent this store/gas station often. I purchased a pack of cigarettes with my debit card, which apparrently, was put through as a credit transaction. I also purchased gas with cash. I bought a second-hand car from a local car dealer who assured me that I was getting a good deal. He basically guaranteed that ALL his cars were in tip-top shape with very little maintenance needed after purchasing. He named many happy customers and as he is an established name in the community, I trusted him. What a disappointment. To date, the car has cost me R3000 with a further R3000 necessary just to make it roadworthy and safe to drive. Santander took over my auto loan from Triad/Roadloans in January 2010 without any notice or communication. I had stop receiving payment statements as well. In February ’10, I filed for chapter 7, but excluded my auto loan and continued to make payments. In July of ’10, I received a phone call from a repossession agency notifying me that my car was being repossessed. My wife's 2006 Santa Fe has had brake problems which were supposed to have been fixed by Smart Hyuandia. When I went to pick it up for her, the brakes were still "mushy" and the brake pedal would go to the floor if you continued to apply pressure to the pedal. I asked the "service advisor", Danny, about that and he told me that the brake pedal going to the floor was "normal" if you continue to apply pressure. When we demanded they save the parts, they placed them on the back floor boards which then had to be detailed. After haggling over the price of an 2003 Toyota Tacoma, The dealers bottom dollar ended at 9, 000 dollars. Compared to Kelly Blue Book, this was a reasonable price for that model vehicle in excellent condition. Although the vehicle was in very good condition, the tires were in dire need of changing due to lack of tread. I took time off from work drove down and spent 2 1/2 hours riding through their parking lots and service lots with a set of keys and a Salesman looking for a truck they didn't have. The rear pulley bolts on my 2007 Harley Davidson Utra Classid Electra Glide completely sheared off inside the wheel as I was driving down the road. I heard a noise and looked in the rearview mirror and saw something sliding down the road. Do not buy a car from pars cars. I purchased a car from them and was back the next day with problems. They charged me 3 times the blue book value, charged me 25% interest, required $2, 000 down, and still sold me a lemon. When I took it back, everybody in the service center waiting for their car to be repaired, had the same horror story about dealing with this operation. I found very little wiring for power only no additional wiring for the lights as explained in the directions. I purchased a vehicle for $11, 000 and was told it was in good condition. I took it to a mechanic two days later who told me that the car had over $9000 worth of frame and engine damage. The dealer claimed to have no knowledge of this, and would not let me out of my deal. I finally took a different car from them, rather than fight them. The dealer told me that they would not be selling the car now that they knew about all the damage and the unsafe condition of the vehicle.
