This company is a scam. It charges to view postings lifted from other websites. The agents and websites did not authorize apartment hunters to use their listings. All of the listings i contacted were either no longer available (some as long as 6 months off the market) and others couldn't even find the property due to lack of reference number. Per Mbarbeaux's info regarding Premier Cards read on the Complaints Board, I'm responding that I too have been scammed. When attempting to contact Ocwen,at any of their many phone numbers, they put you on hold until the line finally goes dead, or they connect you to a non-english speaking person who you can't understand and pretends he or she can't understand you. I tried the free credit thing on Jan 7th, and called them on Feb 7th to cancel as not to have any charges. Their number by the way is 877-481-6826. They said no, because Jan had 31 days and I should have canceled. I told them if I did not receive a refund, I would post pages on My Space, Face Book, Yahoo Groups, etc and make as many aware as possible. My daughter is a college student and had a GAP credit card. She paid the balance off almost a year ago. Recently, she started receiving harassing phone calls (several each day). Finally, she gave them her bank information and allowed them to charge her account. We never received anything in the mail at our home address or her college address indicating that there was a balance due to her GAP credit card. We believe it was paid off, but being a naive, young adult she did not have the knowledge to ask the right kind of questions. Our home loan got behind with Fremont Investment and Loans, due to job loss. We are now fully employed since then, by that time Fremont went out of business, and sold our home to Whilshire. I was answered with a note telling me to give it a little more time because it is a wonderful program. I sent another request for a refund and received another letter telling me how wonderful the program is and to keep trying. I purchased a Kirby Vacuum cleaner from Team One Promotions, after a HIGH PRESSURE sales deal. In less than 4 hours, I notified them to cancel the transaction after reading numerous complaints on the internet. They picked up the vacuum cleaner and I stopped payment on the check, however, they continue to sue me for the vacuum cleaner that I no longer have. MNI Reports advertises a free credit report, however somewhere on their website they say by receiving to a free credit report, you are automatically signed up for their monthly service--forever, and for me the charge is $11.95 a month. per remarks in other comments, the charges cannot be rectified via phone or thru credit card assistance because of frequent disconnects and messages of "this number is not in service at this time". There are two numbers I've tried (866)-408-4016 and (800)720-4420. The easiest is to close the credit card account that the automatic billing appears on.
