I signed up for lessons for myself and my daughter on Sept. 25 over the phone never signed the contract or faxed back as instructed to do so.They charged my credit card I called back on Sept 26 and said I changed my mind. 11/17/08 They said charge for cd would be $1.95 But withdrew $58.61 and the same day 11/21/08, I ordered a cd they said would be $2.95 but they withdrew another $58.61 on 11/21/08. Every time I call their number this is what happens. When the number answers, the recording says; "to discontinue this call hang up or hold the line for more options." I completed my associates degree in May 2008 and after sending in the paperwork five different times still have not received my diploma. The quality of the courses was very poor and many of the instructors did not even bother to respond to any questions I had. I am in the process of contacting the State's Attorney to see what charges can be filed against the school and if I can get my money back. What a joke. They steal hours from students that have rightfully earned them and gave those hours to a student who can not show up to school on time, who wont do anything to help out and is completely irresponsable. I was driving with my 3 year old daughter on Maywood ave. heading north towards Colorado when I turned into the ally behind the school. Just before I cleared the fence adjacent to the playground, a rock from the playground was thrown at a very fast rate of speed hitting the hood of my car as it cleared my windshield. This school/salon is very dirty and not safe. I would suggest not using their services. I feel sorry for the students. They seem unhappy. The sink bowls and floors are terribly stained and look like the owner stopped using a janitorial service years ago. Adison high school oline diplomas are a fraud. They won't give you an address and they charge 299.00 for a diploma that isn't worth 1 cent. They send fraudulant papers and diploma. When you call to talk to someone about it they won't let you talk and hang up. They will say anything about their diplomas to sell them. I applied at the Florida Metropolitan University back in 2004 they hurriedly accepted me and had me in classes before any financial aid was set up, now as I was going through the process of it they avoided phone calls from my father who is a Veteran. Beware of Lamson College. They offer a surgical technologist program that they claim will take one year to complete. 10 months of classroom work and a 2 month 'externship' in a local hospital. An on-line inquiry was placed for program information for Argosy College, within minutes of transmitting the request a phone call was received from the University. Unable to pick up the call, 13 additional calls were logged as received from Argosy University during the day with the last call logged at 6:24pm.
