I enrolled at the university of phoenix's axia college. I was told that FAFSA would pay for most of the bills for my school and that I wouldn't have any lab fees. Then I checked out a bill for 2000k+ for just the two classes I was taking. I was misinformed and mislead to to believe that I would pay just 2800 (quoted price) for the whole year of schooling and that it was a great learning experience. Then I started my first day. It doesnt issue refunds for students who never took the lesson, it doesnt give refund before the lessons even start 3 weeks before hand, there is no tuition refund for after school, ESL school, College, music lessons, art lessons. in the ESL brochures, it specifically states that refunds are given to students before the lessons start. I enrolled in an online MBA class in July '08. My $175 soft-cover marketing book was miss-shipped 2 times so it was basically lost in transit for 3 weeks before it actually arrived. By the time this over-priced book arrived I decided to drop the class so I shipped it back and was told it was "damaged" even though I had never used it!
