New Bedford Schools Department
To whom it may concern:
I am following up on a complaint I filed last year which has yet to be fully resolved.
I am a substitute teacher who has been approved to work as a sub in The New Bedford Public Schools, however, I am being unjustly blocked from receiving any assignments.
There are two incident which took place during school year 2004-2005 which have caused this problem.
The first was a professional issue:
I subbed at a middle school and had a disciplinary issue with a student. The student responded with profanity... read full review »
Computer Learning Center
This is an online "business" located at http://www.computerlearningctr.org/
I tried their system for a month. I did exactly what they asked but not only did it not provide any positive results, I found out that what they told me was allowed, was NOT allowed on the website!
I have spent the last three weeks e-mailing them (which is their only contact info) to try and get my money back, but it has proven fruitless.
It is a scam and they should be shut down.

Benchmark Capital
I live in the Dallas Tx area and have a complaint about a locally based company called Benchmark. We signed up with this company when our daughter was getting ready to start looking at college at a cost of $1600. Supposedly they were going to help us find scholarship resources to help pay college expenses. Of course they promised us the moon but we ended up with nothing. They did an initial screening and were supposed to get us info on scholarships to apply for that matched our daughters profile. They did not even send us the application... read full review »
Walker County Trans-Aid
I have started going to Northwestern Technical College on October 2, 2006. The first day I got transportation by Walker County Trans-Aid and then Walker County called my house and said I could no longer get a ride from Walker County Trans-Aid because I live in Catoosa County, I called Catoosa County Trans-Aid and I was told that they no longer go to NTC. I am also going to LMCS or Cornerstone in Lafayette, I leave NTC everyday at 12:00 and I go to cornerstone which is a division of LMCS.
All I’m asking for is a ride to Northwestern... read full review »
BSNL
The service of brookfield office in marathalli is so pathetic. After continuous follow up we got the BSNL telephone connection after one year. Now its almost 1 month that we are yet to receive the broadband connection. I am so upset and really not sure whom to complaint. Daily going to the office and remainding them is also not helping me get a broadband. read full review »
TechSkills
I signed up with TechSkills for their medical coding associate course of study. I knew I was in trouble after I'd signed up and some of what my mentor was saying didn't seem to make sense with regard to the subject and the market / what I was hearing from those outside of TechSkills and finding online, vs what the mentor was suggesting.
Each time I pressed for back-up to the info, it was suggested to me that maybe I wasn't really ready to study with them and perhaps I should talk to the director. Of course if I'd cxld... read full review »
floridacnaonline
I was directed to their site, VIA an ad on craigslist, where it said "get your CNA certification here". Before I purchased their course their customer service was great. I was emailed back promptly and they vaguely answered my questions. I signed up and to my surprise all they offer for the low price of 50$ is a list of procedures that is freely available on the internet. Now it takes 2 days for them to respond to my emails. They are a complete scam. I demanded my money back. But they refused to issue me one. They mislead you into... read full review »

So, I decided to go back to school, as I had paid an old student loan off at tax time. I was interested in a medical career, and wanted the option of going on after graduation for a bachelor's degree. After speaking with a rep, I decided on Surg Tech. She explained that they were a nationally accredited college and therefore thier credits would transfer nationwide. What I know now that I didn't know then, is the difference between NATIONALLY accredited and REGIONALLY accredited. In short, national accredidation sounds better, but... read full review »

Bryant & Stratton College
Bryant & Stratton College hires these instructors that are highly unqualified. I ended up instructing the class one night because the instructor had no clue what he was doing. He couldn't answer basic questions. We are basically teaching ourselves and that is unaacceptable.
This is not the first instructor that I have encountered at Bryant & Stratton that has demonstrated such a deficit in knowledge. I have contacted the head of the departments and the dean of instruction with no success.
Bryant & Stratton tries to teach... read full review »

I took out a loan while i was attending Axia College of University of Phoenix( online) 2010. The loan was for 9500. I was paid 1228. from the loan as funds earned by the student. The other portion of the loan 8285. was sent back to the Direct loans because i withdrew. The Loan funds was then sent to nelnet.com where nelnet claims the funds were canceled and that Axia online college canceled the funds. There are no Federal provision given a school the right to cancels out a student's loan without first notifying the student or given the... read full review »
Union Institute and University
I am one of too many who have been injured in the student loan system. An "A" student who put herself through college, I wanted to pursue a Ph.D. but was left with nothing but massive debt and a frightening story of legalized fraud. In the year 2000, I entered Union Institute and University’s Doctoral program. Based in Cincinnati, UIU was running without licensing in Washington, D.C. UIU had unlicensed, Federally funded sites throughout the country. The school knew this for some time but never addressed it.When I brought up the... read full review »

Worldstrides
I was thrilled when I came across this opportunity to voice my appreciation for the WorldStrides student travel company. I am a very busy teacher in Snohomish, Wa and thought that there was no way I could find the time to offer my students such an experience. Like all who have toured before, I too realized how impact-full travel is, but thought I was way too busy to make this opportunity a reality for my students. Well, after some careful encouraging from the kind folks at WorldStrides, I took my first trip and it was life-changing! As a... read full review »
UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS
With a less than a 3.0 gpa (from a pretty good, private, small liberal arts school) and less than stellar GRE scores, I must say, I'm glad I got admitted somewhere for grad school. When I got here, however, I was seriously wondering for quiet a while, if the school was some sort of a "diploma mill, " the standards are so low. For example, I've witnessed listening to head phones in class, as graduate students, and they are still here! And, for masters classes, at least in the department I'm at, some classes are still... read full review »
sallie mae student loan
Pay us your money and just go away. That's what one of their senior managers told me when I tried to settle my account with them. What a bunch of low life’s. I had to wait until the end of the month to pay them because that's when I got paid. I called Sallie Mae's toll free number on Saturday (866-812-4251) but the offices were closed. Call that Monday, and was told that I could not settle on our original agree terms because it was too late. Told them I tried to call but their offices were close (I have phone records to... read full review »
MTC Truck Driving School
From the very beginning of my stay with MTC was horrific. I was there 6 1/2 weeks. They had one person trying to teach a class of 50 students their parking maneuvers and I just about had to teach myself. I was told that no matter how long it took for me to get my CDL, I would only have to pay $2080.00. And upon returning home there sat a bill for me from Partner's Financial for nearly $7000.00(which upon reading other reports on this site MTC/Partner's Financial is one in the same). The living conditions in the dorm were... read full review »
Draughons Junior College
I am a former Draughons Junior College student, and I have a complaint about the way things were at this school. They had an internship class were they were advertising that they would help with job placement after graduation, however that was completely untrue. For some of the internships you had to find them on your own, and as far as job placement after graduation there was no help there. Also I went the extra step to find out why student loan companies that I had not even heard of was contacting me for money. I asked the companies to send... read full review »
American Intercontinental University
This company is a total scam. They lure you in by your desire to further or complete your education online. They tell you all this bull about how you can do this with your tuition reimbursement and how they need a $50 fee to process your application. They process you and then sign you up. You are supposed to have a financial counseling session, but the next thing you know, you are signed up and ready to go. They send you books, etc. in the mail that just arrive at your home. Then, when you think, ok, I'll try this...they hit you with a... read full review »
Penn Foster College
Penn Foster College is a big scam. Connie Dempsey is a tramp who knows nothing about directing education. The people at Penn Foster College are a bunch of losers who are jealous of their students' educational accomplishments and try to put down students in order to cheat them of previous school credits. They tell you a whole bunch of lies and they argue with you. They lack respect and student services and are a bunch of losers who are nothing but whoring telemarketers!

Paul Mitchell the School
I’m about to finish my prison term here. Not even kidding. If your looking for a great education then you need to look somewhere else. My experience has been disastrous. They make it look SO good on the tour but the nightmare starts right away. Staff is changing constantly, not experienced and do not know what they are doing. OMG, their the ones you learn from? Drama on a daily basis. What does the staff do? Tell you to deal with it. No lie. This is what you are paying for along with lots of trouble getting aid, and also help to find... read full review »
