I had my first dealing swith Expo Electronics in Wayne, NJ on Black Friday, 2008. Not having dealt with this place at all, I didn't know what to expect, but the prices . After 4 hours of waiting they claimed they were sold out of the product I was looking for. OK fair enough. But then I returned the next day (1st one there as the door opened) because they had yet another enticing deal. I had gotten Xpert-solutions to take a look at my laptop they had spent three days on it trying to figure out what the problem was... they said it was the video card..than they blamed it on alienware saying it was what their technicians said... even though Xps solutions told me it was for sure the video card... they never fixed it because the technician or so called fake expert... couldn't even get past the screws on the back of my laptop... nov 18th, 2008 in the middle of my school semester (college) my screen broke, another person in my class with the exact same model of my laptop had the EXACT same problem literall 1-2 weeks after warranty!
HP said too bad basically and said I would have to pay $400.00+Shipping for a new one.

I'm writing this to further encourage everyone out there to disassociate themselves from Alienware in every way possible.
I bought a new laptop from them 4 weeks and three days ago for a staggering $6, 100. I am a 3d animator and modder: I require a very powerful system as I am in a very competitive environment. After two weeks my laptop arrived. I am from the West Indies and recently purchased a shipment of mobile phones from China. US is used as a transhipment point for our goods and the phones were stopped while passing US customs to its destination country, Trinidad and resent to China. The reason for stopping the shipment given to me by FEDEX was the phones were counterfeit.
These phones are China mobile phones and although I agree they have the same model number/name as the Sonyericsson they do not carry the same brand name or is even a copy of that phone... read full review »

Sent laptop 10/20/08. First week they denied they had it. Last several weeks have simply told me they "have no status". Turns out the reason they can't provide status is that they resend your equipment to an unknown third-party partner of theirs in a round-robin fashion (see their website partners section for an idea of the limited requirements to become a partner). Repeated requests to talk to a manager - or anyone other than the person that answered the phone - are greeted with either "call back tomorrow" or apparently unlimited time on hold. read full review »

I then made a complaint to Currys where I bought it from, on the 15/11/08 in the Hammersmith branch to the Manager.
I was then told that I would recieve a replacement in the next four days. I still have not recieved this product.

Ordered lamp Oct. 28th and never received the item.
Had not received my Amex statement yet so I went ahead ordered another one figuring there was a mixup.
That day I received my statement and was in fact charged nearly $400 for something that I never received.
THey will not respond to emails and customer service NEVER picks up!

Display Center sent out a GE service technician who insists that this is normal and there is nothing they can do about it. I bought an A8N32-SLI Deluxe Motherboard several months ago, made by ASUS. I assembled my own system which seemed to work fine, until I attempted to upgrade to WindowsXP SP3. Doing so caused an endless loop of reboot crashes, which took a great deal of time to reverse and undo, and left me with SP2 (the older version of WindowsXP), and left me unable to upgrade without risking a lot a problems.

Just got mine a few days ago and it is great as a cell phone or mp3 music player. As far as the "calendar / pda" function this is definitely NOT a pda. it can not sync with your computer, it does NOT come with any software to sync any type of calendar such as outlook or mac safari or google.
