I was not told that my 4-year warranty for a laptop computer would be voided when the computer was replaced. My laptop computer was unjustifiably replaced and my warranty has now been voided after 2-years of owning the computer. A laptop replacement should replace the laptop within the warranty. I got the magazine in the mail I looked through it. I started checking out some of the businesses. Most of them are scams. I found www.ResidualCashCow.net I looked it over. I clicked on the pay part and noticed that the refund was only given if you wrote to the address provided. It was in Corbin Ky on Buckhead Loop. I ordered an Ideapad from Lenovo on 9/22/2008. At the time of order the product web site stated that the order would be shipped within 3 business days. Three days later the estimate shipping date was changed to 10/01/2008. The product website still stated that order would be shipped within 3 business day. One 10/01/2208 the estimate shipping date was changed to 10/28/2008. I called Lenovo and the Customer Service rep told me that the shipping date might be moved to 11/07/2008. I ordered these digital converter box coupons back in March of 2008, they expired in July of that same year. I never used them. I want to be able to get 2 more coupons as I don't think they should have had an expiration date on them especially since the switch to digital is not until 2/2009. I don't understand the 3 month expiration at all. These boxes were not even available around here during that time I had those coupons. This program doesn't seem to have helped at all. Tweeter subcontracted with Elwin for in-home repair for our 50 inch tV that is still under warranty. Elwin left a message on our answering machine that said they would send a service tech between "2 and 6" tomorrow and that we should call before 8:30 if this was not convenient. I called Verizon Tech support after being disconnected in the middle of working from home for the umpteenth time. I was not reconnecting with the usual techniques (restart modem, reboot, etc).
