I knew it would ultimately go to collections, which is fine, I had some bad customer service with U.S. Cellular after years of contracts with them, which I deemed unfair. But that's another story. On dec 02 2007 I made a purchase of 100 bulbs using paypal buyer credit, the seller sent the merchandise and I never received it. I have been calling several times Paypal customer services and there's only one answer "I have to wait" for the result of the investigation, etc... As far as I know every transaction using Paypal buyer credit is protected and in my case I'm still waiting. I can beat your worst experience with the Geek Squad. In Oct '07 I called to have a wireless network and range extender configured at my business. The tech arrived an hour late (as he was from the Ontario, CA store and they scheduled him a service call 52 miles away (and allowed him with 15 minutes travel time...). I bought Roxio 9 Suite. The product would not install. Since I do hardware / software support for a living I checked all possible issues that might cause the problem outside of the CDs just being damaged. Nothing worked so I put in a ticket with Roxio support. They sent me back a procedure which sometimes works to install old (Pre 98) products but I tried the instruction twice anyway. I purchased this television for $3,000.00 in 2003. In december 2006 a bulb blew in the tv so they replaced it. What they neglected to tell me was it was in a class action suit for this bulb issue. I purchased the DVD player because of the rebate offer. Most companies allow 60 to 90 days to submit a rebate, not 15days! To allow such a short amount of time to comply during the holidays is deceptive advertising and unfair. I would not have purchased the DVD player had I known about this deadline. We bought a 56 inch Vivetek TV from Shop NBC. We paid $2500.00 for it. After 6 months, the lamp went out. We replaced it at a very high cost. The small metal control buttons, which are located on the face of the Motorola MOTOSLVR L7c, falls off easily and is small enough for a child to swallow. I bought a camcorder listed above in December and ever since I have been trying to get Panasonic to advise me why I can not get the DVD Ram Software to download to my computer. I have checked the disk that was included with the camera and the driver is not on the software. Asurion sent me a replacement phone that had 5 separate defects, it is my firm opinion that asurion is shoveling garbage out of their warehouse, it is my opinion that asurion knows that a certain % of the replacement phones that it ships are defective. I purchased an HP Laptop from Costco on 5/16/2007. Unfortunately, on 1/16/08 the computer crashed and would not reboot at all. I called Costco Concierge services and they connected me to HP who then sent me a recovery disk which was to no avail. During the recent ice storm in the midwest, with millions out of power for up to two weeks, my new FR-300 emergency radio (with the American Red Cross logo on it) failed to work after one day.
